Re: Up Next...Marshall

The defense is horrendous and the offensive does selective blocking……if and when they feel like it

Re: ULL discussion

No matter how you slice it the team wasn’t ready to play tonight! Better regroup quick and coaches need to do some soul searching about who we are and who we want to be.

Re: A Potential Tragedy?

Haven’t seen it, probably won’t see it and don’t really care but have been in NFL/MLB venues where they have what appears to be 12 to 18 inches of some sort of glass or acrylic product that you can see through with no problem yet still affords a safe barrier from falls. Better safe than sorry!

Cam Peoples?

Anyone know Camerun’s status after the game? Was he in the dog house the fourth quarter or was he dinged up. Watching the replay they mentioned he was limping on the sidelines but never heard anything definitive.

Re: App season, Sunbelt bowls and Common opponents

Between 94 and 76 on Coastal there’s gonna be somebody thrown out for two unsportsmanlike penalties before this is over. Coastal plays dirty all the time.

Re: Myrtle Beach Bowl game thread

If our DB’s are so darn good why do we always play this 10 yard off the ball zone? Unbelievable!

Offense seems unimaginative and uninspired. Not trying to get the ball down the field other than to Hennigan. I know Peterson didn’t want to rock the boat with play calling but come on......

Re: Campbell Game Day Thread

Defense is not good today at all. Now we know why teams with lots of players out have cancelled their games.

Re: Is there a Friday night NOLA gathering?

Last year it was the Bourbon Street Drinkery. The management there was great! Set us up an upstairs room in advance with a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street. It was a nice night and a great time was had by all. My daughter and I probably stayed there a couple of hours before just walking up and dow...

AppState Official Watering Hole?

So last year we had an "Official" bar there on Bourbon Street for Friday Night frivolity. For some odd reason I can't remember the name of the bar but it was an outstanding evening. Large upstairs bar with a great balcony, music and they were great hosts. Anyone working on this for this year? They e...

Re: End Zone cam, concrete being poured

This is fascinating to watch as it happens. I check back about every hour to see if I can catch something new happening. They're still putting up steel on the East end of the building while pouring floors on the West side of the building. Massive cranes and concrete pumpers. Those pumpers are big ti...

Re: Attendance

Yeah right 17900.......apparently they counted those Halloween ghosts in the stands! There might, might have been 1790 when they let everybody in the neighborhood. In for free after halftime. The league must not have consistent attendance reporting guidelines. I believe App reports butts in seats wh...

Re: Solid as a Rock at App State

Being from the Midwest many years ago, it's great to see how a Nebraska guy felt about his trip into Boone and that it is where he wanted to go. I lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area until about 1980 and I can tell you that Nebraska was the football gold standard for many many years as they fill...

Do yall think we need to get some metal detectors? I know they're expensive but with small exits and bottlenecking issues I think it would be a good investment
Metal detectors for what? That doen’t help get anyone out of the stadium during an emergency.

Re: Attendance

Don’t want to beat a dead horse but there was a major issue with getting folks with disabilities out of the stadium too. There apparently were some buses but they just sat, sat and sat. Where the normal line is in the stadium was a zoo and there was no control by staff trying to accomodate people. T...
