Re: ODU - discussion and game
As to the refs, yeah I’m getting tired of the calls not matching what I see myself. I was listening to 97.3 on headphones at the game. The announcers were as befuddled as I was about some calls and no-calls. On one ODU scramble play, there was either offensive holding or illegal man downfield. Nothi...

Re: ODU - discussion and game
I thought the ODU game was App’s best game of the year on all three sides of the ball. ODU had zero kick return and punt return yards. Zero. And our red zone defense was stout. Yards gained on the other end of the field are meaningless really. And we held a good offense to 3 points in the second hal...

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
A looooongg time ago but the Wofford game in 2008 on Halloween was a hot start. If I recall the Halloween game correctly, we were down 14-0 and then Armanti took over. Just sayin. App traded TD's with Wofford until pulling away big time in the second quarter. I’ve been to a lot of App games but tha...

I have beefed mine up some but its a keeper.ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 3:03 pmIn the market for a new grill and flagpole…. What does everyone else have? Bonus points for links!!![]()

How could he not? Almost every student brought a photo of Nemo with them. !!!RaleighApp27609 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 1:24 pmAll if this is well and good but you're missing the bigger question: did Coach Marlin find Nemo at the HCC?

I was there in the nose bleed seats and behind the UL bench. Turning point of game, IMO, was when Abson came out and App doubled Hosana #34. Its like they game planned for Abson but no further. So when Abson sat, they looked lost. Plus Coach Marlin appeared very thin skinned and let the Wheres Nemo ...

Re: Cure bowl vs Miami (OH)
The amazing thing was that Joey threw the ball like it was a calm sunny day. No idea how he did that. Miamis QB had a hard time holding onto the ball. Does Aguilar have large hands? That could explain why he found it easier to hold onto the ball. Anyone know?

Clark is the coach and needs to be the coach next season. Topics like this need to die Nope You gonna want to fire a coach any time we don’t play in the CCG? Any coach? Since Clark arrived we’ve gone from class of the conference to just another team. You can’t look past the facts. I could not disag...

Re: To 1937 App State Football Team
Back in the old Field House, there was a banner hanging in the Club room. The banner listed all the game scores from the 1937 season. Undefeated and unscored on in the regular season. Coach was Kidd Brewer hisself. We lost in the bowl game. I recall the score as 7-3, but the earlier poster might be ...

Re: Game Balls: Southern Miss
Play of the game was Sullivans hit on the QB which forced a fumble on the 1 yd. line.
Not sure what his former position was but he moved to that OLB/DE spot on the left side this game for first time. He deserves a game ball for that hit alone.
