Re: Shooting at UNC Charlotte
This whole tragic event is not really about guns even though a gun was used to kill and hurt more innocent people. This is about evil. As a Christian, I believe in the God of the Bible and I believe in Satan. Satan has is having a field day influencing people who live in a day in which so many give ...

Re: Men's Basketball Coaching Search
I don't think Kerns has done enough yet to be offered another head coach position. It looks like he has Presbyterian headed in the right direction but one winning season isn't enough proof that he can sustain that success yet. If that is the best we can do then that says a lot about where our progra...

Re: Men's Basketball Coaching Search
Actually Buzz Peterson is being brought back for a 3rd time. All that is holding up the process is his writing of his acceptance speech. It should go like this..."I am so happy to be back at APP. It was such a wonderful experience for me and my family before. I am ready. I really mean it this time. ...

I thought your anger management group met on Friday nights?
No. That’s usually when my gun club meets except during football season when we switch to Thursday nights.

Re: North Carolina lawmakers seek to allow alcohol sales at college sporting events
There's a HUGE difference between studying an event that already happened (incidents of drunken behavior at football games), and predicting an event that will happen (presidential elections; the weather). I hope you know the difference.
What I know is that many who drink often get drunk. Mo...

Re: North Carolina lawmakers seek to allow alcohol sales at college sporting events
They’ve done studies at collegiate stadiums pre-selling beer and post-selling beer. The facts do not support your hypothesis.
Studies and facts? Yeah. O.K. The studies and facts said that Hillary was going to wipe the floor with Trump in a Presidential election too. LOL! Look, You don't nee...

Re: North Carolina lawmakers seek to allow alcohol sales at college sporting events
I have never seen alcohol turn anyone into a better person, only a worse one. I hope this doesn't pass because it will lead to more fights, more loud profanity and general rudeness etc.. I remember one game a few years back, my Dad and I had season tickets and our seats were at the end of a row. A g...

Re: Another one bites the dust
How do we teach our youth COMMITMENT when the adults who are their mentors don’t know how to honor their own COMMITMENT? I agree 100%. Once again, this is all about money and self advancement. Sadly, money and self is all that really matters to so many people today. Other people that were counting ...

Re: Junior Adams
Speaks to his character. Exactly! I guess I am just old school but I believe in keeping my word and honoring commitments that I make to other people. I was raised that way. I believe other people outside myself and my family are important too. I believe there are more important things in life than ...

Not to derail this thread. .... But am I the only one that thinks Daniel Boone Inn is overrated? Shatley Springs is a thousand times better than the Dan’l Boone Inn. This from a former DBI employee. I find this hilarious. This thread has been derailed so many times, it has off-road tires. Did I men...

Re: Time for Change with App State Basketball
Our basketball team should have the theme to the old Benny Hill Show continuously playing over the loud speakers during every game we play. It would fit so well.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
Relax people. Trust that Drink knows what he is doing. Give all the coaches that are hired a chance. As far as players leaving is concerned: Leave a team that just won a conference championship, a bowl and 11 games total? Leave a team that has practically everybody back next year? Leave for where? W...

Reports are also in that Satterfield has dismissed all current Louisville players and all current APP players are transferring to Louisville. He is also having the grass hill removed from our stadium and transplanting it to Louisville's stadium.

It seems that whoever Satt wants from the old staff in Louisville is going to end up there. Doesn't really matter why (more money in Louisville, didn't get all of what they wanted here etc...), fact is these guys are leaving. Oh well, thanks for your time at APP, best of luck in Louisville. Now, I a...

I would love to get Woody back too. Drink is an O guy. Having Woody back would provide some peace of mind with our D going forward.
