Re: New Hoops Floor Unveiled
I like the moving of the benche. My only thing is that the requirement that opposing teams ticket allotment being behind their bench rules out students being behind them I do believe. Also, I think having the students right in the section in the corner and also the endzone area so to speak would be ...

Re: Scott Satterfield Question and Answer Thread
REPORT: Either you are all in or all out. I can't stand fans who only come when everything is great. Guess what people, it is called reality! Teams have up and down years and time. Things happen that are out of the control of many. Life throws you curve balls. If you can't be behind this team and gr...

Amen to what DJ said! The empty seats are the fair weather fans that compare to the wine and cheese crowd of UNC. Either you are all in or all out. I can't stand fans who only come when everything is great. Guess what people, it is called reality! Teams have up and down years and time. Things happen...

Re: WR shakeup for Saturday
Does anyone know if Matics the Kicker is healthy now? I don't know how none of the others are so bad they can't pass him. Also why was Critcher doing rugby type punts when he is clearly good at normal punting? Also please have players not wear ear rings on the sideline and can someone PLEASE find th...

Re: New Graduate Assistant
It is not necessarily a new position. Some post them on the website and other times a school or staff might not. He is a great kid who I am fairly certain is a GA but in a volunteer capacity but this might cover grad school tuition. Not certain on that. He is a from a great family, and his father wa...

Re: The state of Appalachian Athletics
No truth to that saying he went to Ga State. Jay Sutton took the director job at the Yadkin County YMCA. Apparently a female in the athletic department got a raise over both he and DJ and that was the last straw. Satterfield told Beasely we need to find $$ to keep him and was told their wasn't any e...

Re: The state of Appalachian Athletics
Agree with timing and how disrespectful it was but would another year have altered much? Also, still baffled as to how the basketball program was ruined because of CC not following through with proposed incentives and improvements to MBB and to think he would never even have he to hire a new coach b...

Re: The state of Appalachian Athletics
The Capel fiasco that could have been easily prevented, not keeping Moore for 1 additional season all add into the mess that has become. It is sad that Jay Sutton was so frustrated that he left.

Re: The state of Appalachian Athletics
Everything seems to have started to take a turn for the worse when the terrible basketball hire happened...the name we won't speak of was hired with one year of assistant experience.

The state of Appalachian Athletics
Does anyone really want to enlighten us all about everything that has transpired over the past year or so? It seems that people post bits and pieces and it would be interesting to put all of the pieces to the puzzle. Feel free to chime in and remember at the end of the day Give Your All for Appalach...
