Re: Ga State game
Watched the replay. Ga State initiated, we reacted. Our legs looked tired, theirs didn’t. Also, Gregory is the team mvp in my opinion, and he didn’t play. What’s the extent of his injury or is it an injury? Said he didn’t travel with the team for personal reasons. Hopefully it’s nothing major and h...

Re: Eric Church
To me, it all boils down to financial support. Growing up on NC in the 80s and 90s, and not having previous direct ties to App, how could you be a fan? It certainly wasn’t through televised sporting events. ACC basketball was king, everyone pulled for UNC, Duke or State for whatever reason and that ...

Re: Favorite High Country Restaurant
Booneshine is by far the best all around brewery in Boone right now. They have expanded their menu a little due to COVID with the BBQ options outside. Need to get that on menu full time, IMO. The beer is awesome. 1180 in Boone Mall is really good. Good food and good drink choices/specials. Foggy roc...

Re: Cortney Braswell Out?
In an effort to get this thread on the tracks....Who are the possible OLB coach candidates? Could see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. I think that really depends on who the candidates are. I would like to see us reach out to Phillip Hicks. He's currently a QC coach at Louisville an...

Re: Cortney Braswell Out?
Welcome to the life of a lower (resource wise) tier G5 program. We are good enough to get lots of recognition, but can’t compete with other peer G5 teams let alone P5. Braswell is an energetic and young guy looking for a solid career. Army will probably double his salary and exposure. He had worked...

Re: new oc
If UL moves on after this year, someone else (P5) will pick him up. He is a good coach and hasn’t had a chance to implement his system fully. If he goes somewhere else, he will take his staff with him, especially the core guys like mike, and Holt and Ledford if he is still with him

Re: MBB @ South Alabama Discussion (1/15 7pm & 1/16 5pm)
Tough loss and leading big in he first half. Imagine being a Charlotte fan right now. They lost to D2 Belmont Abbey, then came out and scored 11 first half points against UAB and lost by 26. We're competitive every game (except Tennessee) and can win the East if we can get build some momentum. With...

Re: new oc
Satterfield had a less than stellar season, and a less than stellar beginning to the offseason. Already has a RB coach to replace. I wonder if there are some staff concerns as to the long term viability of their positions? Not saying they should be, I think he has done good work in a short time, but...

Re: Marshall players want...............Brad Lambert?
Looks like it’s between him, Dwayne Ledford, and Alabama’s RB coach. I would be surprised if it’s him, but it would be hilarious to see him be successful there (other than their game against us obviously) and make concord look that much worse Not good for us if its Ledford.... Would satterfield mak...

Re: Butch Jones new coach at Ark St.
Big names are fine, but we have always looked at the long term payoff of developing 4 year guys and not loading up too much on transfers. I think some of these new coaches are doing that do their immediate success, and maybe not thinking about the long term success of the school, but preparing for t...

Re: Butch Jones new coach at Ark St.
I know this sounds bad, but that is what happens when you hire "out of your league". They will take a job to have one, but as soon as something better comes along, they are gone, even if its only days. Kind of like Dorsey for us a couple years ago. G5's really have to find the perfect person in the ...
