The Good,The Bad, and the Ugly- Boise State

Coming off the heels of another lackluster performance in our 47-14 loss to Boise State. The Good: Rashod Dubinion- he has run hard all year and continued last night. His 17 rushes for 113 yards were really the only highlights of our offense all night. He has proven to be a stout, dependable back th...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

I also disagree that Boise is a peer team. We are peer teams with other average programs like Marshall, Coastal and JMU. Boise has been a step above us. When people recite the “most winningiest programs” stat, they leave out what has happened in the recent seasons. We were on equal footing in 2018/...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

Are we really arguing that it’s ok to lose by 5 touchdowns to a peer school? I certainly remember Satterfields first 2 seasons. I remember losing to Liberty when they sucked. It’s very strange to read these comments that anybody who thinks we are in a bad spot is uneducated about football. Yes, cor...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

How much damage has been done to the brand tonight? It’s not just tonight bro it’s been coming for 5 years I get that last year was bad, but we did play for 2 conference titles during that past 5 years and we did beat more ranked teams during that span than any other 5 year span. Yeah, it wasn't wh...

The good thing is that between Bama/Georgia and Oregon/Penn State, I doubt anyone is watching this game.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

So much for the Billy experiment. How the hell do we not have an effing QB on our team????? What about that 93 years of NFL experience on our coaching staff? What has that done for the QB room? They are all bad. I will continue to give DL time to prove he can coach, but I have yet to be impressed wi...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

I really can't believe that Gillon is playing again. I have seen nothing from him in a game that makes me feel he is ready to play at this level. He may be great in time, but that time is not now. Billy is clearly more prepared to lead an offense. Why would DL not play him? I get he is a 5th year gu...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

This is what I really don't get...... If the qb battle really went into the final week, and the guy that won isn't exactly tearing it up, why not give the other guy a shot and see if he is a gamer? Swann isn't doing it for me so far, I would like to see what Kohl can do.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

Why do we always give up third and longs???? This goes back eons, every coach for the past 30 years has constantly had defenses that give up third and longs. I just don't get it.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm

That was a really nice answer and drive. Gave me some hope which I really haven't had most the game. Honestly, we haven't shown that we can stop them unless they stop themselves. We continue to make too many mistakes, penalties and turnovers will kill any team. We are only down by 10 but it feels li...

We finally play a clean game, no turnovers, limited penalties and all 3 phases play up to the potential.

Re: Ok State Fires Gundy

Between his time as the QB, assistant coaching roles and Head Coach, it is safe to say the Mike Gundy has been around for the most successful football years in program history. What a tough way to go out, loser of your last 11 FBS games. The Cowboys were riding high with good old T Bone in their ba...

Re: Prayers for Coach Clark

I get choked up every time I read an article about Shawn and I never met the man. My heart is heavy for his family, his friends, his teammates, his players and everyone that knew him. While his suffering is over and he is assuredly in a better place, those living have to deal with a grief all its ow...

Here is a link to the article that I just wrote about our game, complete with stats for all players from both rosters as well as relevant team stats for both teams. I hate researching opponents, as a fan I always find stuff that makes me nervous. Your passing game and our secondary has me nervous. ...

A bit surprised that Drink isn’t on this list.
Arkansas is not the type of program that can lure a peer SEC head coach to their school. I certainly don' think they have that sway.
