Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
You know it is out of control when 2 of the largest NIL earners in college this past year (Sanders and Ewers) will make far more in their last season in college than in their first NFL contracts. Looks like Carson Beck made a really smart move taking the 4 million at the U.

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Per South Carolina 24/7 (so you can trust it): South Carolina has five former players who are scheduled to visit Appalachian State this weekend. QB Dante Reno, DB Emory Floyd, OL Kam Pringle and the Porter brothers. They're all scheduled to visit there. Porter brothers are DL and LB for reference. ...

Re: Another domino has fallen NIL
All time records might not fall but season records will continue to fall, both of our past 2 transfer QBs have proven that already.

Re: UCLA football
Very foolish and short sited to leave 1.2 million on the table. I get that he is "betting on himself" and hoping to play well enough for a draft pick or UDFA but he has way too many holes in his game for the NFL. He will be hard pressed to ever make 1.2 million in a year, especially in his 20s. Take...

Re: Another domino has fallen NIL
I saw that the guard for Duke has “turned down” NIL deals from a few other power schools. For one why is it still being called NIL? If a guy is going to simply get paid a salary why the song and dance with the name, image and likeness crap? Wasn’t the whole intent of that to pay athletes whose name...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Sorry, I feel somewhat responsible for this poor showing as I was unable to watch today. Had a party for a friend who retired after 35 years as a firefighter. I knew better, but I went to the party and drank too much instead of watching and clearly let my App State fandom down. Don't worry, I'll be ...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Pitching is improving and the lineup is becoming consistent…at the right time. All 3 freshman are really getting it done at the plate. Hope we can hang on to them because they can all play. Who’s the 3rd? Moquin? All 3 Florida boys. Yep, we need some coin. And long term, some facilities. Yes, I was...

Re: Question: App State sports as or vs ranked teams
After seeing the post about womens tennis getting a win versus a ranked opponent (congrats to the ladies), I got to thinking about all App teams histories with national rankings at the top level (FBS for football, and post 1971 D1 for everyone else) and thought it would be more interesting here tha...

Zamora makes a great play ranging deep toward first to get the grounder and throw him out at first. Runner on first advanced to second, 1 out.

Dang it, Church hits into a double play to end the inning. Still up 7-5 headed to the 9th. It was a good defensive play to get the stop.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Miller works the walk to load the bases. We have to get at least 1 insurance run over in this situation.
