Re: McCall withdraws from portal
There was a lot of talk that when Chadwell was at Charleston Southern he was playing kids who were not even enrolled in school. If true, not sure how the university would let him get away with that. No talk about it. It's factual. It put Charleston Southern on probation, lost wins, and other sancti...

Re: Mid Season Predictions
My mid-season prediction? Pain. We win out, convincingly at first but have to squeak it out in the end against Southern. In the other prediction thread....I see Mike87 making an amazing comeback after starting the season in last place to finish in the top 10. App State's OL is beat up, Harrington i...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Personally, I am fine with giving up the patio on the App St side if people want to pay $100+ for the experience and our limited to that area. If they get the same access to the NEZ then those privileges should fall in line with NEZ Seats or something near the cost. I am less interested in selling ...

I think he means if they "Coastal" have their dream die in Boone with a loss who cares.

Re: Look who's coming to our game
If they make it 2.47 million will go to the league, maybe a little more. So that is 250k per team in the SBC. Remember when Southern beat App State it lost each member school right around 300k.

Re: Sunbelt Expansion... additions?
Those are some bold words about Chadwell. How is he dirty? If I am reading correctly, the sanctions were related to the entire athletic department and involved incidents across multiple programs. Sounds like he is guilty by association. Does that make him dirty? Really? not that I know anything but...

Re: Sunbelt Expansion... additions?
Just as the AAC will not be the same, neither will CUSA or the SBC. There are just too many moving parts. There is a chance that UL, Ark. State, and even Coastal may be gone. It would be a great opportunity to form a logical regional conference, but once invites start to go out, it will be dog eat ...

If watch the whole scene the ref yelled at him to go to his huddle. And how about we talk about number 5 from ECU throwing punches at our guys face while he was trying to tackle them.

Re: Coastal -4.5
As far as the spread goes...back to the topic attempt. If defensive stats mean anything the teams CCU has beaten so far in terms of defensive ranking YPG- Kansas- 107 Arky- 112 UL- 41 Ga St- 91 USA- 68 Stink- 21 Stink lost 28-14 but gave up a long punt return for a short field and a quick score. La...

Re: App @ Coastal tickets
Anybody get any? As soon as it went live, it showed no tickets. You need to click on "sort by price" or something at the top. If you do it by section it shows no tickets. I did Same here. I went straight for that method after being told to do so by a CCU ticket office worker on Tuesday. No luck. Th...

Re: CCU Fan Board
We need to beat them. Our recruiting footprints virtually overlap each other and I’m quite certain they are telling all their targets about how they’re top dog in the Sun Belt, ranked #15, etc. And that’s well deserved for them. I’m not convinced App can beat them because I’ve yet to see us really ...

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St
Not a popular take here, but I don't give to the Yosef Club for the parking space or the ticket access. I give for the student athlete. I have no intention or expectation of attending a game this year, but that check to the Yosef Club was an easy choice. My expectation was to be provided the option...

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St
Question: Will tickets for the next home game, if there is one, be allocated to the same group of Yosef members? Seems like it would be fair to all for each games tickets be allocated to those next in line in terms of Yosef giving. That way maybe more fans would have a chance at attending at least ...

Re: What offense are we running? Serious question.
Does anybody know if, outside of the Virgil sweep we ran a single outside/stretch run play? Not a football guy, but I think Marshall was in a base of 4-3, seems like a few outside runs would open them up, but we wanted to punch it up the middle the whole game. We ran a quick toss late in the game t...

Re: Appalachian St at Marshall Game Thread
Also at the game today. Defense played mostly well. 3rd down not so great. Never felt like we were dominating the line of scrimmage and never made their freshman quarterback uncomfortable. Weirdly felt like the defense was being pushed slowly backwards on ice. But compared to the offense worlds bet...

Re: Appalachian St at Marshall Game Thread
From the stands, it wasn’t pretty today. Here’s what is missing from the teams we have put on the field the last few years: 1. The Herd dominated us in the trenches on both sides of the ball. No holes for our running game, no penetration or pass rush from our D Line 2: it is not unexpected, but lin...

Re: The UNCC Game Thread
Congrats on the win. Feel like neither team played well. Really not happy with some of our play calling but y’all put it on us no doubt. Y’all are still the best program in the state. Good luck rest of the way! Thank you! I hope you guys run CUSA!!! I also see some of your people think you guys are...
