Re: Broome Kirk Gym
Thanks for the replies to this post. I am a '78 grad but dont have much recollection of BK like I fo VG. Based on the price if admission I would have thought the poster dated to the 60s or 70s

Re: Game week in Boca
My dad told me when I was just a boy, to do more listening and less talking. That advice has served me well. I will just say this. I find no fault with those who think that 5th best winning percentage is good but also no oroblem with those who believe in going for 4th and 3rd..... Striving to do bet...

Boone is appsolutely correct for N.C. and Olxford, Mississippi and Ole Miss have no compettion in the country for being the best, if not for Boone, of course.

Re: The REAL Story
It is actually none of our business, but much of what is discussed here is NOOB either so I don't find it particularly appalling or disgusting that someone asked a question he was cuarius about, and invited the potential responder to answer privately so as not to start a rukus. I saw nothing in his ...

Re: Athletic fees for general students
Consider it just part of “general tuition”. I would say more “general students” and parents do just that as they enjoy and see as a benefit of athletic programs as part of their college experience. Especially good programs like App.

Somebody always has to be offended about something. Anything and everything that don’t make them all warm and fuzzy. It’s pathetic and like a infestation that keeps growing. Our society is sick and I pray for healing which has a better shot at working than whining and crying victim all the time. Reg...

Dead on!! Academia raises its clueless head again. Most of these people live in a liberal bubble and have never grown up from or out of high school or college life.

Re: Doug Gillin
For one, I did not disparage, nor do I despise Cobb. Simply put, I voiced my opinion about his popularity and his "walking on water". He did some positive things as he should. That was his job. He did not bring us out of the dark ages, Jerry Moore and his football team did that. Cobb was the benefic...

Cobb walked on water? I never thought so and thought he was way overrated and rode the wave to stardom. I would be amazed if he was that highly regarded as our AD.

Ok, so I didn't know Bill gates was a medical expert, but anyway I don't think our getting back to the business of living, and dying, is being cavalier at all. When the danger level rises, we become more cautious and observant, i.e. storms, heavy traffic, epidemics, traveling to and around Statesbor...

Re: Looking For Recommendations
Carolina Beach is small enough to be considered old school atmosphere but has nice hotels, good food and family friendly. Bring your own bikes or rent when you arrive. Lots of quiet streets to ride just off the main drag. Also has a new, wide boardwalk and Britts donuts just a few steps away. Hurric...

Re: Sad state of affairs in Cullowhee
They basically had 3 “good” years during Bob Waters 20 year tenure. Without those good 3 years they would be about 45-50 percent winning record. Nick Saban couldn’t win under their current situation but they somehow think Mark and his staff are the reason they don’t win and want them fired. They rec...
