ASU's Corey Lynch: The sad part to me is I don't know if I'll ever go back to Appalachian State. I'm embarrassed to go back there because they fired Coach Moore after all that happened.

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

I've dealt with the elitism and peer pressure on donating to the Yosef Club. When I was a blogger, I was told "You can't criticize Athletics unless you give to the Yosef Club." And I've had season tickets to football, basketball, wrestling and baseball, which are all the spors that have season ticke...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

Heads up, but the county and ASU are hammering out an agreement to lease the Health Department's parking lot off Poplar Grove Extension for paid parking this season. It might be an alternative for low-level Yosef parking when the West Campus is covered in yellow machines.

Re: Schmid drafted in 13th round

Kermit seems like the kind of coach who will tell his guys to take the money while they can. He did it with Seagle, who was a late-round pick.

Re: Radical Sun Belt Hoops schedule proposal

This is a big deal and is fascinating. National pundits like the idea of since the idea in theory is to help the top teams. Hope the league steps up financially to help with the pod schedule travelling as your gonna have some last-minute plane trips. The tournament idea starting in 2020 is a step fo...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

It's not really adding any new beds. It's replacing the beds that were there plus the hall that was demo'ed a few years ago. Students don't want to stay on campus when the dorms are relics from the 70s/80s. The trend is more turn-key with individualized amenities, which the new dorms will be. Boone ...

Re: Starting QB

Replacing a 20-year DC with a first-year DC will be a big question mark. Doesn't mean I don't think Brown can do it, but Woody had a knack for calling the right plays almost all of the time. That's something you can't be reassured of until the games.

Coastal won the Sun Belt Tournament convincingly, beating Troy in the title game. The Chants were never challenged.

And the NCAA rewarded them with a Conway Regional.

Re: Radical Sun Belt Hoops schedule proposal

Update. The tournament idea in the original post is likely happening per stAte's AD. He also mentioned a full round-robin schedule for hoops, but that would be 22 league games and is incredibly lazy. The pod idea apparently was discussed, with an idea of resetting halfway through the league schedule...

Re: Penn St Opens as 25pt fav

Franklin has recruited at a National Title level recently. They can have studs we know nothing about.

We're gonna have to compete at a really high level to make it a game. We can do it, but they got enough blue-chippers to make us pay for our mistakes.
