Not publicly. At this point, the family should be the ones to tell that story or authorize telling of that story if they want to. And right now, they got services on Thursday and Friday.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
App will remain in 5th place as the teams we could have caught this weekend haven't lost yet. But now we're 2 losses ahead of 7th place and the play-in game with 6 to go. App is 13-10-1 and ODU is 12-12, so next weekend in Norfolk is another one big. JMU, who is in 6th and a half game back, is about...

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
Baseball is now 5th place, half a game behind Georgia Southern and Southern Miss who are tied for 3rd, but also half a game ahead of Coastal, ODU and JMU in 6th-8th.
Stealing that tie in Jonesboro could be of great benefit at the end.

I would stress patience. In situations like this, information comes out at a trickle.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
I know Britt's an aggressively third base coach, but when when left fielder has the single in his glove before the runner from second touches third, you might want to stop windmilling the green light.

Re: Portal season (Abson, Spillers, etc)
I see one common factor in all the transfers: the coaches. Many of you have waxed on about NIL and whatnot, but in the end, relationships are very important and in some cases more important than money It was pointed out very early how together this team was. Could it be that they were together again...

Re: New WBB coach: Alaura Sharp
Faith Alston jumped in the portal this week, so this team will have to be built from the ground up. Bit surprising after Faith attended Sharp's introduction presser. Maybe it wasn't a good fit?

Helmet comm was already on the road to approval before the Michigan controversy. It was tested in bowl season.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
Our bullpen has to figure something out in a hurry. We're right in the battle for a top six position. Our offense is top three but pitching is dead last. We have the 2nd most RBIs in the Sun Belt. If the team ERA was 5.0 instead of 7.0+, we'd be in 2nd place nipping at Louisiana's heels right now.

We stay 9th. Only 2.5 games out of 2nd place while two losses away from potentially out of the Sun Belt Tournament in 11th.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
Stat cast shows a double play ended the inning, so it ends in a 12-12 tie.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
We must have to catch a flight. Drop dead time at 5pm Eastern. This is the last inning. Never heard of that. We need this run! We've had it before for western Sun Belt trips. Got walked off years ago at Little Rock when all we had to do was hold on for a tie. I think Louisiana and Coastal once spli...
