[quote=ASU2012 post_id=213883 time=1568075064 user_id=855] The band played it week 1 vs. ETSU, but I only heard it once. Re: WSJ: The Backlash and the Beer...Ethan Joyce

Need to link to the article on the WSJ site directly, not the link from the email. Looking on their site, I don't see anything dated today, so not sure which article this is in reference to. My bad, it's been distributed in WSJ email, but hasn't been published in the print or e-version of the WSJ y...

WSOC : Tennessee Tech 2, Apps 1

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Ava Dawson got into the scoring column once again, but it wasn't enough as App State women's soccer fell to Tennessee Tech, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Tech Soccer Field. The Mountaineers faced a 1-0 deficit in the first half when Bailey Taylor scored one of her two goals in the ...

Our women seem to be making progress. I'm encouraged although I hate to lose ANYTHING to the '9ers.

App-branded Beer

Finally found it at Lowe's Foods in Wilkesboro...a four-pack of pint (16 oz.) cans is $11.99. I'm fine with it as long as the university receives a fair percentage of wholesale sales.

Re: Mack Brown's staff

Kind of crazy for him to draw so heavily from App. He only spent one season on the mountain. True, but he's been a friend of the program for a long time...I believe he even still has a house up there. Yes but read this... https://www.hcpress.com/news/former-college-football-coach-mack-browns-home-i...

Re: Mack Brown's staff

The Mack connection to App is clear, but have we talked about his staff including Sparky Woods, Stacy Searels, Darrell Moody, Lonnie Galloway, and some others with former App ties? Not surprising, I guess, and I know some of these guys have ties to Mack that go back to App or before, but I didn't r...

Torn ACL. Hopefully he recovers quickly Let's hope Camerun's injury isn't an ACL tear. Recovery from a minor ACL sprain can be a matter of two to four weeks or so. Sadly, there are no "quick" recoveries from a torn ACL. Surgical reconstruction is almost always required for a tear. Been there, done ...

Re: Attendence??

I have always thought that our school did a huge favor to the students, maybe unknowingly, by allowing student seating out of the sun. I go to a lot of UF games and the students are always in the sun. I bet that it is just a matter of time before our administration realizes the prime seating for pa...

Apps 2, Loyola 1 Final! Loyola got very chippy after they fell behind--resulting in three yellow cards. Apps kept their composure. Quality win for the good guys!

With just over 4 min to play, Apps lead 2-1. LU-M is rushing the goal. Visitors not in a panic yet--but concerned.

App MSOC and defending back-2-back Patriot League champs (and favorites to make it three in a row) are nil-nil after the first 45. Stats are very level so far.

I never saw anyone selling it, first game without in a long time.
Me, also. Tried but couldn't find one. No one near us had one.
