We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates

Didn't really expect this. https://twitter.com/appstatesports/status/1929902145609851091 Not surprised at all. There is great demand for our product despite having a subpar season last year, NIL, transfer portal, etc. I know we hear a lot of grumbling about people not donating and giving up tickets...

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates

I’m told that a handful of Yosef Club season ticket holders have checked out due to the “pay for play” situation. I’m hanging in perhaps being hopeful that a meaningful resolution can be reached. That’s now , subject to change of course. I'm in the same boat. I've got my season tickets renewed, but...

I came back to say it’s time and that Gillin’s seat should be red hot if he fails to do what’s necessary tomorrow.

Re: Stadium Expansion

The club level seating at BOA Stadium blends seamlessly with the rest of the lower bowl. There are many ways to restrict access to certain areas. I’m looking forward to our first stadium expansion ever that doesn’t seem pieced-together and disjointed.

Re: UNC game discussion

They have already started the “Super Bowl” talk. Imagine being so arrogant that even with nearly equal ranking and losing to us in our last meeting, that you can still walk around with that attitude. It’s a big school in NC which is why there is so much hype. Playing Texas A&M the following week wi...

Sure, like it matters, whether you are from the city, suburbs or the country, to be good at your job....good is good, great is great no matter where you live. I don't want to derail this rant-thread with details about relative education level of rural/urban areas because it will just make people ma...

Re: appstatesports.com

Whatever the issue, it seems the entire department is in some level of disarray It's unconscionable. And it's always something. As our football program, facilities, fan base etc all move into the upper echelon of college sports, our booster/athletics staff continue to exemplify the Appalachian ster...

I was expecting a scathing Channel 9 article/report about UNC-A given the thread title.

Say what you want. Try and put bow on a pig. It’s a bad thing. Start this next year if if its so important. Don’t change the rules at halftime.

Re: Season Tix Sold Out

We have 20k students and a ~25,000 seat stadium. I'm no stan of the Yosef/ticket office staff and I can't think of anything more reasonable than giving priority access to students who join the super important transitional booster program for a lousy 50 bucks. If Yosef club and SYC were emphasized de...

I am most surprised that we are selling UNC single tickets at $150+ from our ticket office.
Why?

Re: East side

This topic raises an interesting question (at least for me). What do you guys think would be the ultimate best KBS situation? I mean in terms of seating? I'm not looking for a 70k stadium with a retractable roof. For me if we enclosed the Miller Hill end and increased total seating to 35k, added th...

I'd love to learn about the methodology. With game attendance, social media interactions, graduate numbers, booster membership, eye-balling it in the community, and anything else I could imagine to quantify this I just don't see how Appalachian isn't head and shoulders above our conference mates.

Re: HPU Dental School

I'm genuinely not getting political at all. This thread is about the new HPU schools. Their new law school is of particular interest to me. Attorneys in other states who filed frivolous motions seeking to overturn the election have been disbarred. That's not a political take, it's what happened. And...

Re: HPU Dental School

Seems like a great person to bring more of just what this nation needs, more lawyers... Well, depends on the individual future lawyer as to whether they will help serve members of our community or help contribute to societal rot. Since the leader of this particular dojo apparently used his law lice...

Watch and see. I've said what I wanted to and the mo concrete advocates have won. Pretty sure that decision was made before this discussion ever started on the board. Nothing that was said here was going to affect the decision one way or the other. But if you feel that strongly about it, contact th...
