Re: 2019 Special Teams - Strong or Weak "Link"

I think the biggest test is finding a KO specialist to replace Rubino.

Re: Sun Belt Football Media Day Coverage

I think he was on earlier.

Not a lot of info about media day at AppStateSports. Not sure any press that covers App is even there. A lot of SBC radio networks are there but it doesn't appear we are there.

Edit: He's on now.

Re: THE MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL:

I think DG is smart enough to know he don’t have to jump at the first opportunity. He can be patient and in a few years, or sooner depending on how his new hires pan out, get a much better job for more $$ than Memphis offers Are we certain he hasn't already made an effort at jumping? I mean what if...

Re: '19 Women's World Cup Final: USA v. The Netherlands 11 AM FOX

The inequities that exist have less to do with pay differences based on WC revenue generated. The real gripe exists in travel accommodations and the like. In these areas the men and women should be on an equal footing. With the positive PR generated from their recent WC win, I would bet their next ...

Re: MLS to Charlotte

Frankly, the optics suck to watch soccer with 15-20,000 fans in a 70,000 seat stadium (or whatever BofA seats). I know MLS encourages soccer specific stadiums. Atlanta's entry being the exception because they can fill it. Money does talk, so we'll see. If 15,000 - 20,000 is all they draw then this ...

I have a feeling he's eyed several AD jobs with a higher pecking order. Sure has been a lot of turnover in that building.

I really don't think they expect a invite. I read it as they would take it, as would most, if offered.

Is she eligible to play 2019-20 season??
I probably shouldn't have said right away. I would assume normal transfer rules apply.

Re: 2019 Ga Southern game need some advice

It definitely goes back further than the late 80's. There was a page in the Yearbook while I was in school about the use of "Appy State" saying that if other schools insist on using that name we will start calling them Chatty, Marshy, Davey, Furmy, etc. I graduated in 84 and that name preceded me. ...

Chuck: You might want to look at the replay of the foul that led to the penalty kick. It was difficult to see in full speed but clearly a foul.
Yep, clipped her calf. VAR was correct
I thought it was a bad call in real time but the one view that the VAR had confirmed the foul.

Here's a run down that the RTD did on several Virginia schools and the AAC.

Re: Easiest Schedule in FBS in 2019

We travel to both Troy and UL. That's hardly easy. Four of our 5 toughest games are on the road. Frankly, it will be difficult to match last year's record. We certainly have the talent to do so but it won't be easy.

A question for those who follow soccer more than I do: What’s your opinion of Michael Bradley contribution to the team? He sure seemed out of sync last night. I'm in the minority, but I'm a fan of Bradley. Many people will call for his head and scream at every mistake he makes, but heres my questio...

Re: CONCACAF Men's Gold Cup Qtr Final: USMNT v. Curacao 8 PM ET, FS1/Fox Sports Go

This American squad lacks creativity and plays way too slow. Our effort at a high press was rather pathetic.
