Re: Roster/Staff Updates
OK. In addition to the multiple HS offers we extended today and that I've been working on all afternoon I now have updated and added the transfer and JUCO commits. Sorry for the delay but it's taken me over an hour just to get Rondarius Porter correctly updated. And Mbake was signed to WKU on 4/15 ...

There are about 5-6 that entered the portal today. Most I assume with suggestion from the staff.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Think conference is rated about right. Unlikely to get multiple at-large bids. Much of the season last year the Belt had 6-8 teams in top 100 RPI…. not this year. Apps cannot win on the road and does not do well against the higher rated schools… not a good mix. If the season were to end today, I wo...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
I notice at https://www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2025/index that the Sun Belt is ranked as the 9th best conference, several spots off from last season. We are at 190 in RPI, ahead of only ULM and Arkansas State.

Re: Happy Opening Day!
Have been a Cubs fan my whole life. In 1963 we went to visit my uncle who lived in Elmhurst. We went to the crosstown exhibition between the White Sox and Cubs in Comiskey and the next day we saw the Cubs and Mets in Wrigley. My childhood hero Ernie Banks, doubled off the Ivy in left.

I know the game has changed some, but there is always a time and place for a well placed bunt. Not being able to bunt almost cost us a game in the Texas St series as well. It’s. Not. That. Hard.
GO APPS!!

Semi wanted to go 9 to burn 2 more of their arms for tomorrow and Sunday. Didn’t get to watch much tonight but saw the Uniforms… What did y’all think about the new uni’s and black pants? Not a fan on black pants really but somehow we pulled it off. Black Friday? Thought it was Black Saturday? Looke...

Re: SoCon basketball championship
If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it then did it really happen? A much better atmosphere than the Sun Belt championship. And, to boot their semis were nationally televised as well. I will say last night's SBC title game was one of the better atmospheres there have been in Pen...

Re: Seeding Scenarios
Looks like Troy & Arkansas St playing for a bid. As much as it sucks not to see App there both these teams will be good representatives. I feel like the new Sunbelt format worked as intended. It's not as though any of the underdogs won four straight only to lose last night... Now if they can just s...

Re: ACC
Someone who knows Gill professionally describes him as “handsome but slow”. The conference has and is slipping , falling behind. I’m told he has a couple of strong supporters among the league’s CEOs that deflect any criticism of him. Until that changes, its unlikely the trajectory will. He will be ...
