https://twitter.com/NeersBarstool/status/1738781469772808664?t=Ql-1asYmPW-9DJNcVZLYEQ&s=19 Everyone pause watching these days. What's real funny is my teenage son asked me if I knew what it meant like his generation invented something new. Told him, I was using pause before he was even thought of i...

Re: Transfer rule change.
college football is dead, anyway can't wait to watch the same rich schools buy championship after championship kid from Ole Miss showed up recently in a Lambo money + unlimited transfer potential = professional sport Agreed, and tell me a sport, that pays players, is Uber successful, that ISNT the ...

Re: JMU & Troy Bowl Previews
I don't put too much into bowl games these days, and they conference records after those games. C-USA and MAC had better bowl records than Sun Belt last year, and probably will this year as well. Doesn't make those conferences stronger IMO. With all of that said, I'm not upset if JMU loses. Unfortu...

Re: JMU & Troy Bowl Previews
Coaches leave for new schools, players sit out for various reasons or are already in transfer mode for their next school. Mental challenge for some student-athletes to get hype after weeks off and just practicing against teammates while campus is empty. To then enjoy the hospitality and events that ...

Re: Coastal Coach LOL?
It's ridiculous that we now live amongst a society that takes a basic photo of women dressed in what most women wear to the beach, revealing just slightly more than their cheer uniforms and turn it into a big deal. Also with the mascot to his right. It's not like this is him at a college spring brea...

Watch Party - Charlotte, NC
My dad resides in Charlotte and asked if I could see if anyone on here knew of a good watch party for the game tomorrow. He lives in the UNCC area.

Re: South Carolina State to open 2026 football schedule
They put zero effort into watching Liberty all year or else they would know they are not the best G5 team available. Funny how their logic for the top 4 playoff spots doesn't apply for other spots in the rankings. Instead of finding a decent G5 school to follow this season maybe bringing some attent...

Hoping Phoebus beats Salem. All those years Salem was racking up state titles, Hopewell (the same size) was continuing to play at the state's highest level (AAA in those days, while Salem was AA). Salem had a huge advantage over most of the schools they played who were mostly rural. The reclassific...

Re: Cignetti
And in WVA - Martinsburg rolling over everybody yet again - Saw them play Musselman in Inwood, WV earlier this year. They're a very impressive team. Wasn't the Bagent guy who played at Shepherd and now the Bears from Martinsburg? - I'm surprised I don't see more guys from there at D1 Yes, Bagent we...

Henderson went to my alma mater, Hopewell. Yes, I remembered that, that's why I mentioned it :D Hoping Phoebus beats Salem. Re: Cignetti
Hopefully Indiana won't hold that against him. BTW, your Graham G-Men lost to Radford in the state semis. Yep I saw that - but they were our rivals - I was a Bluefield Beaver - How about Phoebus - they play Salem on Saturday for the championship, would be their 3rd in a row - probably would have be...

Re: NCAA Proposing New College Sub-division
Falling more and more out of love with college football. Can see in 5 years me watching it about as often as I watch NFL games. Watch App every week, other than that an occasional prime time match up if it's a good one. Players transferring non stop, the popularity contest (Colorado) taking up air t...

Re: Bowl announcements for other schools
I get it. Their only common opponent they handled similarly. Auburn takes care of that punt we aren’t having this conversation. I just think punishing a team after they took care of business is crappy. It sucks. Glad we are moving to 12 teams. Some will still feel left out, but it’ll be conversatio...

Re: Bowl announcements for other schools
Since records don't matter and it should be based off the best 4 teams... Oklahoma was not better than UGA in 2019, but they couldn't give two SEC teams the bid because of the optics of a two loss SEC runner up getting in over a one loss Big 12 winner. Cincinnati was not better than the Ohio State t...

Re: Scores 12/1 weekend
I know I've asked this question before- who exactly decided that there are P5 and G5 conferences? It seems like such an arbitrary thing. Other than joining the Big12 how did Cincinnati, Houston and UCF change? In basketball when it comes down to the Big Dance there is ultimately zero difference in ...

Re: Scores 12/1 weekend
If Tulane loses and Liberty holds on, Liberty will play in a NY6 game. Look at that schedule then think about that possibility. I have to think SMU jumps Liberty if they beat Tulane. I don't think you can put a 2 loss team ahead of an undefeated team. Not like SMU has the greatest wins themselves.

Re: Cignetti
Don't think his expectations are Indiana will be as demanding as what Drink and Satterfield faced joining an ACC and SEC school. I would think Indiana would be more patient with the process and not realistically expect to compete with Michigan and Ohio State year one. Some of these ACC and SEC progr...
