If it doesnt directly pertain to App I would prefer not to see it here. There are a multitude of other arenas to debate religion/politics/ethics etc. Please not here!!!!
There is no wrong place or time to raise awareness.

Ok the last topic got sidetracked by religion and deleted. Seriously this is good food for thought: https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/02/us/tom-herman-spt-trnd/index.html My inbox was full, thus not allowing anymore messages. I've since changed the settings to allow new messages and to delete the old mes...

Re: 5 greatest Bands 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s

Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan Bob Dylan was a band? Guess you meant Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan was a five member band. lol No, I'm talking about the one and only Dylan that spits hot fire. Man, The Chappelle Show was the best. My freshman year we used to have watch parties in the commons...

App State 6-1 against C-USA including 2-0 in bowl games. The one loss came the year we weren't even bowl eligible. I know other Sun Belt schools can't brag like that, but C-USA is not a big jump from Sun Belt. One could even argue a step down.

Lord Botetourt has a solid program, and they play some pretty good competition between schools in Roanoke and Lynchburg. Saw some highlights of this kid and he's pretty good. Hopefully he stays true to his verbal. Seems he really likes Coach Clark

COVID Updates

GAS reminded me today is the start of the 100 day countdown to the first game. Maybe I overlooked it in another post or didn't look hard enough online (Very much possible) but what is the plan for this upcoming season? Tailgating, the town of Boone's strict rules, will fans be able to attend, the li...

Re: App cutting multiple sports

Most of you may be aware of this, but just in case you didn't know- All of the student athlete's affected by yesterday's cuts will have their scholarships honored. Furthermore, if the athlete wishes to transfer to a school that still has the sport, our university will assist them in finding a new s...

Re: Looks like North Dakota State has another top QB

He's pretty damn good. Has good size, plays in a pro style offense, and only approaching Redshirt Sophomore status. He's got a big season and decision ahead of him. If he goes this year, he'd be picked after Lawrence and Fields. Depending on the draft order and team needs those two could go pretty e...

Re: App cutting multiple sports

This sucks, no way around it. Before we jump on the end zone facility as the culprit, one of the main reasons we are building that facility is to generate even more income. That income will trickle down to other sports. This stupid “pandemic” (justified or not) is wreaking havoc across the board, u...

Re: Latest Boone visiting restrictions

Outside of visiting the campus or occasionally King Street, I usually avoid Boone. I've come to realize that the likes of Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are equally as appealing, with smaller crowds and less b.s. That's not to say I don't enjoy various small business stores and restaurants in Boone, it...

Re: UNC and NCSU announce plans

Has it been confirmed that heat and humidity in fact make a difference? I ask because Latin America and Brazil are seeing a surge in new cases. Sadly, those countries are in no way prepared for what they're in for. We (USA) have already responded to Brazil's SOS with a shipment of medical ventilato...

Looking For Recommendations

Holding off on booking anything until probably next month (Waiting to gauge COVID reopenings), but I wanted to ask you all what are the best beaches in NC or SC preferably with a boardwalk. Anything outside of OBX I figured there are enough Carolinians on here to get a good suggestion. Side note: It...
