Re: TIGMA NIL
There will always be the 1% who get big deals and make a splash that stains the reputations of the 99% who pick up needed funds to put them on the financial level of their college student peers who come from wealthier backgrounds. Might be 5% and 95% but I won't not support the 95% because of the 5....

Re: TIGMA NIL
NIL is a tough sell, but at one time our Yosef Club was a pretty tough sell. (still is to a lot of our fans). NIL is likely here to stay and breaking it in like this with the fanbase is the way to go.

Re: 1-AA 2.0
Not that it will singularly hurt but I refuse to watch another SEC or Big10 game and i cant be alone. With the power of social media the viewing public could send a shock wave to ESPN and the greedy P5 cartel. Not alone, but there won't be enough of you to make them notice, or care. I think there i...

If the team were to go on a run, win the Sun Belt regular season and tournament championships before winning an NCAA Tournament final, the bonuses would add up to $180,000. Read this on line. So he has to win the regular season, conference tournament AND the NCAA championship for $180k? Take it a s...

I won't do Thanksgiving with the Stink. Then Marsha is out and most likely ULL. Down for all the rest though.

Re: UNC System Board of Governors now has power to control conference moves among state schools
The schools have done it to themselves. Poor decisions and mismanagement leads to regulation and oversight. ie UNC "we won't play App again" even though it was the most anticipated OOC game on the schedule, sold out and one of the highest ticket prices at either venue. Unrelated to topic, but not un...

Word is they are developing a new off tackle dive play to spring on the rest of the belt this year. Top secret. Probably need to take this thread to the cabin.

Re: Free Throws
You have to look a bit further into this. The outcome of the first free throw is important for those that are 1&1 opportunities for fouls 7-9. A miss on the first creates an automatic Miss on the second since the second one doesn’t occur. But statistically the 2nd shot never occurred so it is not p...

Re: 5+7 model close to passing. G5 would still get screwed
Currently, the gaudy, undefeated record is more important then SOS for the G5. Look no further than Lib last year. I love our P5 games, but id rather be in the Playoffs and play a lesser P5 then the Clemson's and UGA's of the world. Yes, that attitude would have not given us a match-up against Mich...

Re: 5+7 model close to passing. G5 would still get screwed
Not sure why so much doom and gloom outlook on here. This is just a recognition that there is now 1 less power/autonomous conference to be given a bid. There for instead of having 6 of the highest ranked conference champions the rule now has the 5 highest ranked conference champion. The highest ran...

Louisiana won a rock fight at ODU and now begins the long, perilous and potentially deadly journey to Boone. Still a chance to clinch Top 4 on Saturday with some help. Dysentery is likely. If they don’t plan accordingly, they may have to ford the river. They also want to avoid Cherokee. Ray's calli...
