Re: Hold on to your hats ….
This may not be PC but I don’t want a Woke Chancellor like Harvard. I do want proper balance between academics and athletics. Students need to feel safe while attending App State and focus on preparing themselves for professional life in the real world. I want a leader that provides all that and do...

Re: Hold on to your hats ….
She was a good Chancellor. I don't know her personally, but she made decisions that needed to be made and mostly they played out to be correct. Her leadership during the pandemic was better than at most universities. Her message indicates significant health challenges. That's sad to hear and I wish ...

Re: Portal season (Abson, Spillers, etc)
We are talking about amateur athletes getting paid $25-$100k (on top of a $25k scholarship and $6k stipend annually) to play in front of maybe 5k people and on ESPN+ with less than 30k viewers. I recommend reading that sentence out loud to realize how crazy and unsustainable this is for anyone outs...

Re: Angel steps down as WBB coach
I’ll just put it all out there. YOLO Marshall WBB went and spent 60k for two recruits through NIL. That’s 30k a pop. That’s the going rate. (Janay Sanders got 25k to go to Minnesota.) The Marshall AD rolled out the red carpet for her and prioritized WBB. Caldwell’s husband was given a job on the me...

Run off tackle on 1st, pass on 2nd and 3rd. Stormed the field at the end. Yup, that's App.

Re: Portal season (Abson, Spillers, etc)
Simple question to the group. If you or your child were in a similar situation would you advise them to stay or go? And when I say situation, take out your love for App and think about in terms of your kid, who doesn’t have that same love or devotion. I’m not saying that these are sound decisions, ...

Re: Who left first, players or coach Kerns?
I get what you are saying. You may know more than the rest of us. This may be the " New **itty World" of college sports I am actually as in the dark as most everyone else. I know that we made offers to Abson and Spiller and both were rejected. I don’t know what they were or why they were rejected b...

Re: Portal season (Abson, etc)
Kids are going to shoot their shot to see if money is available. Abson likely will find some. Hate it for us.

Re: MBB at Wake Forest, NIT 1st round, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 8:00 p.m., ESPN+, LJVM, Winston-Salem, 421 Warfare
It's not beyond me. Half a mind to do it. Might be more productive to contact someone that is involved with the NIT. Leave a pair of glasses on the hood of his car. Or some new peas for his whistle. He actually is a patent holder for some new kind of whistle that minimizes air flowing out of the wh...

Re: TIGMA NIL
There will always be the 1% who get big deals and make a splash that stains the reputations of the 99% who pick up needed funds to put them on the financial level of their college student peers who come from wealthier backgrounds. Might be 5% and 95% but I won't not support the 95% because of the 5....

Re: TIGMA NIL
NIL is a tough sell, but at one time our Yosef Club was a pretty tough sell. (still is to a lot of our fans). NIL is likely here to stay and breaking it in like this with the fanbase is the way to go.

Re: 1-AA 2.0
Not that it will singularly hurt but I refuse to watch another SEC or Big10 game and i cant be alone. With the power of social media the viewing public could send a shock wave to ESPN and the greedy P5 cartel. Not alone, but there won't be enough of you to make them notice, or care. I think there i...
