Re: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugl- USM

Good-- Only 9 games left in the season and we have a much needed bye week. Bad--There are way to many weak spots and obviously little to no depth. Ugly--we might break into the bottom 10 after this week. If they don't get it together during the bye week it's going to be a rough and short season. Not...

Re: So Miss discussion

All of our goals are in front of us. Please continue to accept mediocrity while we raise ticket prices, beg to be compared to the top 5 G5’s, and deliver a D- gameday experience by putting off-brand bandaids on problems. Remember when we wouldn’t stand for this a year ago?! The irony is Staggering ...

Re: So Miss discussion

Someone said earlier in the week we would know by tonight what we really have this season. We have found out and "Houston we have a problem".
Southern Miss working on 1st FBS win since November 2023? Did I hear that right?
Let that sink in for a minute.

Re: So Miss discussion

I have to remember that there are more important things in life than football ..... After the epic collapse against JMU at KBS in 2022, my perspective on App football changed dramatically. I still love App State and support the achool, but I decided it wasn’t worth the emotion anymore. It's been an...

Re: So Miss discussion

On the bright side, there are only about 100 people watching the game in person so not many witnesses to this mess.

Yeah, Swann will have to come back 2nd half. Not good but the freshman not ready.

Re: So Miss discussion

HE WAS DOWN. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THEY “UPHOLD” THAT. JV camera footage to review couldn't over turn it. Right now I'm hoping for bowl eligible. Last week on repeat. Not going to be a exciting season, more nail biting and cussing. I'll take the wins as we get'em and hope losses aren't ugly. Not try...

How many TOs has Dubinion had in three games?
Ball hit the ground. Doubt it goes in our favor though. This looks like we are in for snake bite season.

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)

His INT numbers were bad last year but I’ll always contend that like 25% of that was him and 75% the situation we put him in. We started damn near every game in a 14-0 hole and then had to throw the ball a ton to try to claw our way back. Defenses knew it and could just sit back and wait. 100%. I n...

Re: So Miss discussion

i have sort of a sinking feeling about this game....i think we are talented enough to win a lot of games this year...talented enough to win this one....but i swear the win over lindenwood felt like a loss...yes i know we had 4 TO's and tons of dropped passes...but we just didn't look good. Sure hop...

Re: So Miss discussion

Just listened to post game press conference. Sensed a lot of frustration fro. Coach. Coach said those guys don't know how to win. Don't believe it was so much a jab at the team as much as past seasons. He stated that was why they were here now. We have tons of talent I believe "if" they can gel as a...

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

I’m not going to start freaking out and saying our season is in danger, but the penalties, the dropped passes, and turnovers are concerning. This defense kept us in this game. We make several corrections on offense and we will have a great season. Something was mentally off today, at least that’s w...

I bet on this game. Sorry guys. I shouldn’t have.

CFP shot is gone even if you go 13-0 now.
I never thought about us making CFP this year. Our guys hopefully realize they are human and will have a different focus going forward. Hats off to defense though.

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

Never take anyone for granted. Ask Michigan circa 2007. Your point is valid but totally different set of circumstances. We wouldn't be taking SDSU or NDSU or any other top FCS lightly, but they are a far cry from that. Yes they are FCS, but just barely and they are not a good team. Sure the ball ca...
