Re: Roster/Staff Updates

It will be easier to find another Barnes than to find the money to keep Barnes and improve the roster. And people question player's loyalty to schools...... If we pay him the same next year as this year or even 10% more are we being loyal or disloyal? Is he getting paid this year? I think there is ...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates

I think it goes back to the fundamental problem that is the transfer portal. There is no more loyalty or commitment in college football. Everyone knows if things go bad, they can always transfer somewhere else next year. How many of our players (or coaches) even care about the rivalry with GSU? It'...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates

Diversify. If we allocate 40% to lineman that would be a good start. Would love to see the current allocation. Feel like it has to be more given that games are won in the trenches. It's an 11-man game. You need all 11. Very few teams win without QB's who make good decisions, play-makers who get the...

Re: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly- Stink

What are you talking about?

My good was Dubinion made some awesome , elite moves where he made defenders Miss and picked up yardage that wasn’t there.

He runs hard and has great footwork.

That’s it.

Re: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly- Stink

Good. Swann threw for 348 I believe Bad - Swann threw int at most inopportune time and did not need to make the throw Ugly- first half O and D Swann threw for 348 because his wide receivers bailed him out. Over half of Barnes catches were either acrobatic or slide jobs. He underthew two TD passes. ...

Re: Stink discussion

As much as I hate watching this abomination of a team, this is D Lo’s first year at App and first year as a head coach. Give the guy a chance. We didn’t have to hire a first year coach who needed time to acclimate. We could have hired an experienced, successful winning coach ready to take the next ...

Re: Stink discussion

This team does not give effort which is something we as app fans are not used to. This meds to be corrected and very quickly . Major turnover after the season if these players can’t give more effort than this . We need Igave my all for app players. First time we’ve ever heard the students boo the c...

Re: Stink discussion

It’s time to quit giving the coaches a break. 2nd play of the game, no one covers the back in motion out of the backfield.

4th and 6, three of our receivers are 20 yards down field. Patterns should be run past the stick.

And still no motion/misdirection.

When you are in a position of influence, words matter.

He's received the feedback from those with influence.
Drink seemed to excel in the words that matter. DLo will learn from the feedback.

Re: ODU Discussion

OK, I’m gonna roll a grenade in here. I am 100% in favor of what DL is doing to try at App. For my part, I don’t regret the player dismissals; they were painful but necessary. DL is attempting to restore a culture of accountability and equality at App. No one is above the team, and that should reso...
