Re: So Miss discussion

Some of yall need to realize refusing to donate to NIL is like doing math by hand when you could do it in excel. It’s not going away. Adapt or die Then again if you can do it by hand you don't have to buy a computer. Or just do it in your head and realized that sometimes the numbers just don't add ...

Re: So Miss discussion

My two cents....The offense looked tired in the first half, mainly because they were on the field the whole half. I think the coach could have used a few timeouts in the first half to rest a tired offensive line. Second, I think our coach is good and will get it done. Third, Said coach did not do a...

Re: So Miss discussion

This is not a rant, an attempt to shame anyone or call anyone out so please I hope no one takes this personal. I realize that people have their own lives and stuff going on and disposable discretionary income is different for everyone. The App ticket office sold 40 tickets for this game through the...

Re: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugl- USM

Good was the starting receiving core: In the first half with QB1, Barnes had 89 yards receiving , Strohman had 58 and was breaking tackles and Cummings had 52. The drops came from other receivers, if I remember correctly. I could look forward to Barnes playing the next two seasons here (in a differe...

Re: So Miss discussion

Here’s my sleep on it take: First, I’m going to give Huff some credit. He called six defensive time outs yesterday, using them like a basketball coach to break our momentum and reset his defense. His team was prepared and the players buy in to his system. Second, from a talent level that game was wi...

Re: So Miss discussion

Southern Miss takes a defensive timeout every time we hit a big play. It's an interesting strategy, that I haven't seen used before.

Monmouth taking Charlotte to the wire. Tied at 35 with Charlotte driving. That win is not worth much

Re: So Miss discussion

I get we have a freshman in, but we’re down 17. Open it up and see what the kid has Personally I’d play anyone but him. If Loggains has any desire to win this game, Wiles has to go in next possession. Freshman QB throws short of the sticks on 4th down. Loggains isn't giving us a chance to win. Coul...

APP 34 - 11 UNCC../..UNC 20 - UNCC 3. NC State and Wake are playing for the best team in NC Thursday night. But, continuing the glass half full....we are at least in the conversation of the best team in NC right now. UNC has no argument being better than App. ECU gave State all they wanted. My bigg...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates

I'm not happy to see Wilson leaving the QB position but I certainly understand it. I'd much rather see him make this switch than to enter the portal so it's actually pretty refreshing. I'm guessing that, with his athleticism and understanding of offenses, he can be a significant contributor as a DB...

Re: Game day Operations

Although I was unable to attend I watched on TV and I have come to this conclusion. If we're making game day as student-friendly as possible and making the experience as much about the students as possible then do away with the canned music altogether, except when the Band of Distinction is in tran...

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

We looked like shit today. Anyone that tells you otherwise is full of it. I’m glad we won, but we BARELY deserved it. We better clean it up quick or we are gonna get rocked in conference. There is a problem with our wanting to look cool and effortless in 2 attempts to cross the goal line in our fir...

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood

Serious question here- with the proliferation of transfers out of otherwise good G5 programs in essence moving up to power programs for paychecks and the influx of lesser talented players (often dudes at power schools who didn’t play) are these as same G5 schools moving back to high level FCS rathe...

Re: QB AJ Swann Named Week 1 OFF POW

In contrast, Aguilar went 11/13 174yrds 4tds. I'd say we will be just fine at the QB position. AJ Swann will be the man this year. Joey was 16 of 28 for 247 yards and 3 TD's. He also had 6 carries for 34 yards including a 25 yard run (on a designed play). I wasn't a big JA fan last year because he ...

Re: Two more?

As far as TV goes, I think you are about to find out how much people care about football and the big names...ie UNC. We (AppSt) and ECU are accustomed to having to pay to watch our brand, these UNC/NCState/Wake/Duke fans are about to have to pay to see their team. It will be interesting to see how ...

Re: UNCC Mayo Kickoff game now Friday

Park in the Sugar Creek park and ride lot and then take the light rail down to the station. That is so easy, likely a bit cheaper than paying for parking, and not pump as much carbon into the air compared to driving all the stop and go traffic downtown. I did this last time we played at BOA and it ...
