Re: What's next for stadium projects?

Oh to have a game where I don’t skin a knee on those aluminum bench backs. I can tell my “game jeans” by the picks on my knees. Sit on bleachers without backs and you’ll be wanting those backs. Exactly. Taken customers to Lambeau for several games. You get 20” of aluminum bleacher with no seat back...

Re: FCS In The Spring - Who Are You Rooting For?

Are they really going to do this? Do they play again in the fall? I'm glad they are doing it. The kids put the work in, they should get a season. I'm pulling for Campbell. I like their style of play. Also, may go check out a Davidson game. I have a work colleague who's son is a Senior LB. No XFL th...

Re: Pruitt Gone at Tennessee

Actual Fulmer is "retiring," so they'll need a new AD and head coach. Rumors out of Knoxville are that Tennessee is facing Level 1 violations, so whoever comes in will have to weather a big storm. A Tennessee athletics director and head coaching search at the same time is popcorn material. I do fea...

Re: What's next for stadium projects?

I think the next football projects we’ll see are expanding the indoor facility andcosmetic touch ups like major power washing of the concrete. Before the East and west sides are connected the east side needs to be torn down and re-done. The only eye sore left at KBS. Hey now!!! I LOVE my East side ...

Re: new oc

i like the Ponce hire because he is a great recruiter, very good qb coach and he worked out really well the last stint in Boone. My only negative thoughts are that as a top 40 program we just hired a guy with no college game calling experience. I wonder how many candidates that were interviewed had...

Re: 2021 FBS Conference Talk

This would be a legit FBS conference. It would compete easily with the G5 conferences. I would love to see NC A&T make FBS. They would get good fast. If they were the only Historically black FBS team. NC A&T is one I like to pull for. ASUN North: UMass. football affiliate UConn. football affiliate ...

Re: Yosef Club Giving

We should hire college kids to walk around and sign up monthly Yosef givers. Give the student straight commission of 6 months of what ever they get signed up. Pay them monthly as the money comes in and after 6 months all the money goes to Yosef Club. A little rich but yes we need to have people sig...

Re: MBB @ South Alabama Discussion (1/15 7pm & 1/16 5pm)

Tough loss and leading big in he first half.

Imagine being a Charlotte fan right now. They lost to D2 Belmont Abbey, then came out and scored 11 first half points against UAB and lost by 26.

We're competitive every game (except Tennessee) and can win the East if we can get build some momentum.

Plus, there's this:

The first line of his Bio on the Louisville site:

Regarded as one of the top recruiters in the state of Florida, Frank Ponce joined the University of Louisville football staff Dec. 12, 2018.

And oh yeah , there are others who aren’t happy in Louisville.
So do we feel confident with Ponce staying even if Ledford takes the Marshall Job?
Why would we be concerned about that?

Re: App season, Sunbelt bowls and Common opponents

Ohio State will reach 8 games, so I do think they should be ranked (at #1 or #2). I do question whether or not Southern Cal at 5-1 and opting out of a Bowl should be ranked. (They probably will be) My point was that there are really only 19 P5 teams that should be considered to be ranked (20 with U...

Re: new oc

Steve Sarkisian put on a clinic last night of play calling. Excellent demonstration of using motion at the snap and getting the ball to his playmakers in space. Used tempo to create a mismatch in the secondary. Obviously, he's top shelf. However, if we can find an OC who incorporates those type of e...

Re: Snow Friday in Boone

I was a freshman during the Storm of the Century. Fortunately, we were on spring break. I was a Senior and we were in Boone for Spring Break. Best memories ever. Going out in the Blizzard practically snow blind to pick up bread, eggs and milk. Listening to the local radio and all of the stories hap...

Re: Final Rankings

The Final Top 25 Rankings are going to be interesting: #18, #22, #23, #24 and #25 all lost. Of those getting votes in the final AP Poll--UCF, Marshall and Army also lost. Miami may stay in the Top 25 (was #18 and lost to a ranked opponent) Liberty will definitely crack the Top 25 at 9-1. Ball State...

Re: App season, Sunbelt bowls and Common opponents

not sure I want this at all. This is just glorified Southern Conference like back in the playoff days. I want teams like ECU, Cincy, Tulsa Memphis, UCF...better competition week in and week out. Although EasyU being better competition is debatable at this point. I believe we would evolve in that co...
