Football... or Maybe Not
https://247sports.com/college/north-carolina/Article/College-football-2020-season-Power-Five-discussing-possibility-of-no-fall-sports-Big-Ten-150053433/ Sounds like the 2020 season is seriously in doubt unless it is moved to Spring 2021. If the P5 decides to cancel the Sun Belt will have no choice b...

Re: Wake Game Canceled for This Year
Just a matter of logistics and scheduling. Several AD's have discussed the idea.

Re: Wake Game Canceled for This Year
Everything considered, this was the correct decision. This game deserves to be played when all the players are safe and able to play and when all fans are safe and able to attend. While we're at it, let's do what's probably the inevitable and postpone this season until next spring followed by the 20...

Re: Who stays, who goes?
Top 10 compared to top 25 defensive statistics against a decidedly weaker schedule. Roof is thankfully gone!!

Re: Who stays, who goes?
Our Ted Roof led defense simply wasn't as good last year as the year before. The D got the job done because we had a returning group of excellent players. They were frequently out of position, especially in prevent defenses. As was pointed out earlier, statistics proved we were not as good last year...

Re: Nevada Coach an Idiot?
There are several ways to utilize strategy in these situations. Nevada's coach is a D1 head coach making $3/4 Million+ to make hundreds of decisions affecting thousands of lives on and off the football field during any given season. You may disagree with some of his decisions and that's ok. However,...

Re: Who stays, who goes?
I recommended it a few days ago, and I think it bears repeating. Taylor Lamb would be an excellent choice for QB coach. He has the intelligence to be an excellent OC with a bit of experience.

Re: FB Coaching Roster Changes? Not so many as of 1 PM Friday
Ted Roof likes every job he's ever been able to get. The problem is he's never been more than mediocre at any of them. He's been fired time after time. Check his record and you'll see. App and Coach Clark can do soooo
much better.
much better.

Re: Who stays, who goes?
If Drink doesn't take his DC, Roof, with him it certainly means he doesn't have a lot of confidence in him. Lots of App fans don't have much condidence in him either, me included. His coaching record has been spotty at best. If Roof doesn't get chosen to go to Columbia, Coach Clark needs to select t...

Re: FB Coaching Roster Changes? Not so many as of 1 PM Friday
We are about to learn the real story behind Ted Roof. If Drink takes him to Mizzou, he really believes in his ability to get the job done and we are free and clear. If he leaves him behind it means he knows he cannot get the job done, and it will be up to Coach Clark to move beyond him and choose an...

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC
I'm predicting a huge game for Zach Thomas in New Orleans. He just got the Most Outstanding Christmas Present of a lifetime. He's been freed from the chains Drink placed on him this year. We'll see the real ZT return in New Orleans after Shawn Clark lets him play, and the Most Outstanding Christmas ...

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC
What about hiring Taylor Lamb as the quarterbacks coach, with the goal of making him the OC as he gains experience. He was one of the smartest, most savvy quarterbacks App has had in the mold of his coach. The guy was nothing but a winner during his career.

Re: National coach of the year nominee? C’mon man!
The Louisville AD has been on video saying he would do anything, repeat, ANYTHING...to keep his new football coach.
I am sure Satterfield heard a ringing, repeating Ca Ching $$$$.
He deserves what he gets. And he will be well compensated now, and even more so if he continues the build.

Re: Next Years Roster
ZT loves App. No way he leaves. Satt kept his scholly alive following serious high school injuries. All the other schools pulled their offers. In addition, he never adapted fully to the Drink system. Everyone watched the struggle throughout the year. I think there was respect because that's who ZT i...

Re: Who stays, who goes?
I am amazed at the number of people willing to give Ted Roof a pass. He is simply a bad football coach....past his time and out of touch. Nobody with his background has EVER been hired as a head coach. Well maybe in Little League. But App Nation better hope one of two things happen: 1. Drink takes R...

I have one request for the administration. Usher the Kool Ade man out the nearest door as quickly as possible and ma...

May I repeat from above.....Hell No!!!
With our strength of schedule, and any loss, we drop like the proverbial rock!!
Hey, our future is in our hands. Let's just refuse to lose!
