Re: Hints at Next Season

We won't have a point guard , or a center ...not in any traditional sense. Position-less basketball. We’ve offered 2 juco point guards (Jalen Finch and Jalen Moore). Finch is from Raleigh and has offers from us and coastal. Moore is from Indiana and has offers from several mid majors. I'd love to h...

Re: Panthers release Cam Newton

No one wanted a 31 year old QB thats taken the hits he has thats going to cost them 19 mil. Hes just had too many injuries for the teams to take a big chance on him. Someone will pick him up for a 2 year prove yourself contract. There is no telling what a year off could've done for him. I'd rather ...

Re: Hints at Next Season

So first this is complete speculation and is something that I would hate to have happen. I have a gut feeling based on zero knowledge or information that Forrest will transfer. This is based purely on body language and nothing else. I love the kid, love his game. He is currently the only guy on the ...

Sorry. You can't use the word "Raw" to describe a first round pick.
Now if the late great Al Davis were still around he'd probably argue with you lol!

Wow
That's what I said too! Have felt for a while now that Prisco is a bit unrealistic but having the 20th ranked OL according to his company go in the first round is a bit drastic. But it's great press for Taylor.

Re: 2020 Baseball Mega Thread

Think about the liability of any stadium, school, event, etc staying open in light of the events. If Tom gets sick at X event we live in a world where he can say "I know I bought the ticket. I know I got in the car. I know I drove there. I know I am fully responsible for making the choice to come h...

Re: 2020 Baseball Mega Thread

I want to preface my comments with the fact that I 100% agree with canceling the basketball tournaments just simply due to the current position in the lifecycle of this pandemic. With that said I think it was a rash decision to cancel all spring sports right now. Most certainly suspend activities fo...

Re: 2020 Baseball Mega Thread

This hit me funny so I have let this simmer in my head for a little bit; the NCAA is adverse to making good decisions so that led me to this opinion: they are like the kid who gets mad at how the game is so they take their ball and go home, no one gets to play. The NCAAs members basically dictated t...

They have cancelled all the rest of spring and winter championships to include the College World Series the anticipation is that no conference will resume playing now.

Re: Likely Tournament Path

Yah agreed that this year has been fantastic. We missed out on a double-bye by a single game. The only published odds I see put app at 40:1 so I'll take my handicapping medal please :P Notably though we've struggled with various injuries the last couple months and I firmly believe that this team wh...

Maybe I just haven’t seen it, but not sure I have ever seen a position coach as thorough in breaking down techniques and teaching them in such detail. Can’t wait to see our DLine wreaking havoc next year

Re: Salaries for App State assistant coaches

Interesting to see the two guys with NFL experience (Nunn and Rowe) towards the bottom of the list. But all in all it seems pretty balanced given the pool of money afforded to Coach Clark.
