How I'm dealing with no sports.
Check out the World Tag Championship stuff. Pretty solid entertainment.

I also like watching the MLB/NBA/NHL classics they have been running.

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

Yeah, I am a "Cam guy" as I have been following him since college. I dont mind the Panthers releasing him, but the execution of it was in poor taste. I like some of the FA pickups as well, like Robby Anderson and Tahir Whitehead.

Re: What is Bar for 2020 Football Season?

Expectations 9 or 10 win season Top 30 all season, mostly Top 25 for back half of season Big year for Zac/Sutton/Henning - I feel like Zac was battling some anxiety with Drink and never got back to the form we saw the year prior. We all saw the cuffs Drink put on Sutton. Bowl victory and a Top 20 fi...

Re: App vs ECU getting bumped

Sounds like we get a higher percentage of the gate, which could be very beneficial or it could be less than a Saturday home game at the Rock. Only time will tell. I agree. That is the most likely element that changed with a renegotiated contract. Splits the monetary risk amongst the two parties.

Re: ADG Combine

Really.... played the whole year with stress fracture. God help the opposition teams in NFL with healthy play. Good luck ADG in the draft a thanks for the the grit. I said this on the other thread, but ADG was all about “Team first” and depending on severity and location of a stress fracture, you c...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

If this is true, then my question is why not have surgery right after the SBC title game so you could at least be healthy for the combine and possibly the Senior Bowl? Would be curious to hear why he waited. I don't blame ADG for playing the entire season but I think if you know about the injury, a...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

I’d hazard a guess that his decision to play sends the message that he played at a high level hurt and the extra months of play added significantly to his body of work. AND a decision to have surgery before the combine would have had him withdraw without that exposure. I’d say well played. From wha...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

I don’t see how the combine is much more important than an all star game. One shows how well a player does in practice and game-like conditions. The other is a modified indoor track meet. In general you are right about the all-star game but you are comparing it to what you see on TV. The most impor...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

Yeah, the combine has lost its significance in a lot of ways. It's sort of like the "All Star game" of the draft process. You want the extra limelight, but it's not the end all be all.

Re: 2020 NFL combine

His worth has been proven on the field, hopefully that keeps him on the same path. I wonder why they did not have surgery immediately after the bowl game and ...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

Henni has incredible hands and is a high IQ receiver. Good body control and timing. He would be an easy early to mid round draft pick with those hands if his feet weren't so heavy. He still may carve himself out a role with those hands. At this point, Corey is the most complete receiver we have had ...

Re: 2020 NFL combine

Evans proved what we already knew.... He is a smooth runner with technically sound skills in the running/receiving game and he had breakaway speed. He is not overly explosive and won't blow up NFL tacklers. Ive been expecting him to go 5th-6th to a team who will want his diverse skill set in the ret...

Yes. This one was first in my mind before I could even think of the others. Miracle on the mountain was second and Lynch FG block 3rd.

Re: Sutton / Peoples

Sutton is recovering nicely. Rehabbing well, no set backs and he is ahead of schedule.

Peoples has been ready to go. Both should be full speed for fall practices. I am sure they will be limiting Sutton for spring to ensure he is fully recovered.
