Oh yeah, good call. I forgot he went to Shelby prior to Crest.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 8:35 pmJalin actually did go one year to Shelby before landing at Crest. He and I had a fun conversation about the differences between the two schools at last year's Legends gala.

Re: Family Season Tickets
The child season ticket is a little cheaper than an adult ticket.... but yes, it is pricey taking you kids to all home games (and a few road ones) when you factor in meals etc. We have to budget it as a family each year....

The armed services A with stars and stripes in it was one of my favorites. I would like to keep it as the standard. https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/journalnow.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/f/52/f52892af-8b93-51d6-b5d0-088c4e610ba2/57b6896c2f1fc.image.jpg?resize=1200%2C770 The A...

Re: Gordon's Fisherman Logo and App-Ah-Lay-Chun
I really do not mind the Flying Yosef logo.... I mainly prefer the block A. I would love to do a campaign to purchase the ESPN special Yosef logo, that is by far my favorite of all time. Does anyone know what it would take for the school to make a play at purchasing that? I’m not sure if everyone is...

Re: Doug Gillin Tweet
I heard of a few guys DG was targeting, one of which was a board member that just retired from my company. Let’s just say he received an enormous compensation package and should have some funds available to donate to Yosef. I may or may not have tipped DG to that info.... So, you live in Charlotte,...

On another note, anyone know if there are specific settings that allow me to see tweets within the threads? All of mine show as an error. Might be an access issue with my laptop.

Soros paid me to come on this thread and be upset.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
It’s not embarrassing, it is an indicator of where we are right now. We are a “borderline” program- a great G5 that has a high ceiling, but only as high as a G5 can go. The coaching staff is starting to mirror the player roster. We will have the interest of big names, but we will be their floor. If ...

Aerosmith & Jimmy Buffet were fantastic live. Also saw Clapton play in the Dean Dome. That was an amazing show. Clapton? Instantly jealous. I used to have the Double Door Inn in Charlotte as a client and imagined how awesome it would’ve been to see Clapton play an impromptu show there like he did.

Boston. Third Stage Tour 1988. First concert I ever attended was the best. Boston around 1978. Opening act was Sammy Hagar. Worst was the infamous Buffett walk off the stage after an hour Charlotte concert. I’m a huge classic rock fan, but personally can’t stand Boston. I instantly change the stati...

AC DC Stiff Upper Lip tour 2001 Charlotte- Angus was incredible The Roots (Circa 2005 in what used to be Center City Fest Charlotte)- they played for 2 hours straight without stopping. I met DJ 9th Wonder in the crowd, he and Little Brother were supposed to open for The Roots but didn’t for some rea...

Re: Best Live Music Performance
The Wailers of Bob Marley fame played at Legends in 88 or 89. That was the best live performance I saw in Boone. Obviously the band at that time was not what it was while Bob Marley was alive and even earlier when Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer were involved but still some good reggae, which is not th...

He did, and was very active with the kids already. His intent, it seemed, was to learn a little something here and wait for that call..... That call just came a little quicker than expected.

I didn't say Peoples was as fast as Evans. I just pointed out he had breakaway speed, which has been on display already. Peoples has more dimensions. Evans will tote the rock plenty, just don't be surprised to see him listed as something other than an RB. Evans does not have to be the guy to wear do...
