Re: New 4 game series with Charlotte

This is a natural, fun for office ribbing and a very inexpensive series. Great for fans for travel Team and support travel by bus save time and $ Great for NC media coverage of our program Great for regional recruiting Ability to play seven games in NC Healy will build a program there. In a couple ...

Re: Chris Kroeger

Nobody knows. It is a very odd situation. He was doing some CBS NCAA coverage on the radio a week after he was let go, so litigation might be involved with the Hornets. Maybe a DUI or some interoffice incident? Who knows. I didn't think he was all that good, but he was passionate about the Hornets a...

Re: Moving to Atlanta

Atlanta= what I hope Charlotte never becomes, but is slowly trending towards. Charlotte has such a different "make up" in infrastructure and geography than Atlanta. No doubt we are on the fast track to becoming another Atlanta-sized metropolitan, but Atlanta is more of a commuter city and it shows ...

UNCC on WOF

This guy Joe on Wheel of Fortune starts the show saying he works for the Charlotte 49ers and said “Go 49ers” and Pat proceeds to ask, “so that’s a school or something?”...... Classic...... Yes, I’m watching WoF, I never changed the channel after the Canes game since I had the Masters going on my iPad.

Re: Pro Day 3/28

Duck won’t get drafted. He really needed to put up crazy numbers at Pro Day to boost his stock, that didn’t happened. Like I said, he bulked up ALOT, and that helped him look a little better in stature. Exford is the one who did a lot to boost his stock on Pro Day. He looked and played the part. Hi...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

My argument to Duck was to stay his senior year and develop/show off some of his intangibles like leadership, anticipation, and maturity. This year has the potential to be a special season with possible national attention. He could have been a face of that as a Senior leader on defense.

Re: Pro Day 3/28

Heath at a 4.7 40? That has to be a typo. Yeah, he was in the 4.40 range from what I heard when I was there. A few of the players were trying to time on their phones (which was funny), but he was definitely faster than 4.70. Nope. He ran 4.69 and 4.70 according to the website, who gets official pro...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

If Duck doesn't make it on an NFL roster, would he have a shot in Canada? It'd be interesting to see him cover AE. Duck vs GOAT. With how things have changed the NFL needs to give AE a shot at QB. I believe if he was coming out now he would have been picked as one and still would be in the NFL or a...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

I agree with above. His best chances are as an outside LB or DE in 3-4. It's unfair to compare him to Donald, Donald is a generational guy.

Re: Pro Day 3/28

What about Stout ? What about him? I overheard a few guys (unidentified) saying Stout looked like a fullback. He seems way too small to be a DL, but his explosion and speed could translate to OLB or something in a 3-4. He is an athlete with a high IQ who works hard, he may get a camp depending on w...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

I don't think April 4th is a good move. According to some articles online there are several NFL teams who start draft meetings next week so they probably won't have a scout at our workout. Anyone know why it was moved back? Was it simply because Drink thought we could or because Jalin was not ready...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

I wouldn't worry about Jalin just b/c he didn't run the 40. Training camp & preseason won't be 'till at least 4 more months from now. I could see him being drafted around 6th/7th round. I know the Jets met with him at the combine & were there yesterday, so they may draft him as a project behind Lev...
