Re: Jordan Fehr

Some of you need to take a break from the boards man. I just read every post in this thread. A lot of personal opinions being thrown around like it's fact. Lot of people hiding their opinions behind "anonymous sources". Feels like a lot of people's sources are their own 2 eyes, and what they see be...

Re: 2019 Panthers thread

I know it’s 2020 but wow- Luke retires at 28. I would not have blamed him years ago when he was laid out on the field. Top 10 Panther all time. The Shaq Thompson signing leads me to believe they knew it was coming. Luke has battled brain rattling injuries for years, I’m sure he has had a neurologis...

Re: #19 In Final AP Poll

G5s #17 Memphis #19 App State #20 Navy #21 Cincinnati #22 Air Force #23 Boise State #24 UCF I knew we were on the fence, glad we sneaked in! 3 years in a row that UCF finished ranked. The best of times for our fans. Really proud of our team. It is great to finish in the top 20 and we should at leas...

Re: FCS National Championship Game

ND State has more guys playing bigger roles in the NFL than App Outside of Carson Wentz, who has yet to win anything in the NFL, most of their guys are just role players just like most G5 schools. At the beginning of the year, I believe I saw that we had 9 or so guys still active in the NFL and the...

Re: FCS National Championship Game

These are 2 good teams just like APP was back in the FCS days - not JV ball as some have claimed. But it is JV ball. The gap has widened between FCS and FBS, even more than it was before. These teams are good, but you are also comparing them to each other, not versus a G5/P5 athlete. The reason why...

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

The trenches is where all Superbowls are won and lost. If you can protect your quarterback and disrupt the opponent's QB, you can win. It's that simple.

What's a Morgan State? Sounds depressing.
It’s the 53rd State in the United States of America. The republicans and Democrats think it’s the next great battleground state.

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

I look at Cam Newton like this. He is a very good player who has not lived up to hype because of immaturity and injury for most part. He is not a HOF player now but if he stays healthy and gets a Super Bowl win along with putting up big numbers consistently for a few more years. He was not a MVP ca...

Re: Who stays, who goes?

Greenhalgh verbally agreed but then GaSo ponied up a lot of cash. Kent didn't get approved by Gillin . Bielaniec showed his interest late in the search and Clark and Gillin jumped all over it -- that's a good sign. What was his concern with Kent? Long story short, Mcelwain threw Kent under the bus ...

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

Those were opinion pieces and he has been good at times but he can't stay healthy. He has either missed time or played hurt. The ESPN.com piece was in October. That is just halfway through the year. Remember, the most important ability is availability. Here is the most important link that matters w...

Re: Who stays, who goes?

No to Jones as DC! Why do you say that? Because of his first go at it? You have to realize he was trying to run a traditional 3-4 with 4-3 guys. Now that he's spent time in our current 3-4, knows the best way to run it with our style of recruit (not traditional 3-4 by any means), i think it's going...

As with any coach that comes here and leaves, unless you were an App grad or considered part of the App family, once you leave campus, you are dead to me.

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

As a Panther fan I will be WAY more concerned if they give Cam a new 5 year $150M guaranteed contract. Couldn't care less about the length of the coaching contracts. Those can go away with zero hit to the cap. I think if we can find an affordable way to kick the tires on Cam for another season or t...

Re: Who stays, who goes?

If Riley leaves, that means he doesn’t want to be here, why should we be worried about that? Do date, he hasn’t done anything to blow my socks off. Obviously the pedigree and potential are there, but if I’m basing everything off of his audition at the Bowl game, I wouldn’t be throwing big money at h...

Re: Panthers Hire Baylor’s Matt Rhule

Not a fan of that hire, but hope I'm wrong. Why wouldn't you be? He turned a 1 win team into an 11 win team. It's a perfect fit for him also without the pressure of being in New York. What's the alternative, a re-tread NFL guy? I agree with you. His resume says he can turn things around in 2-3 seas...
