I began having the same problem with the 406 error. I went incognito on both my laptop and cell and now have no issues.

New ribbon board on NEZ facade?

I am looking at the stadium web cam and it appears they are installing a ribbon board along the base of the NEZ. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

Spier out at Western

Mark Spier has been let go at Western. He had a 9 year run there, but just could not make them a consistent winner. Nice guy and a good position coach, but could not get it done as the HC.

Kidd Brewer looked great on TV

Even though it was raining and foggy, and without any fans, I thought Kidd Brewer looked beautiful on TV Saturday. Removing the track makes a big difference. Can't wait to be there in person for a game.

Re: Turf Replacement Pics

I guess it was not practical, but would it have been possible to recycle the old field turf and use it to "astroturf" Miller Hill?

Tar Heels recruiting

I see that the holes have the No.3 recruiting class so far. That is impressive and surprising. Maybe Mack Brown has some good years left in him after all.

Fall camp start date

Curious if anyone knows when the fall training camp is scheduled to begin. And will the new turf installation be completed in time?

Projected final ranking for App from 247 Sports

Brad Crawford has us at # 17 for final year ranking. We are the highest ranked G5 team and just ahead of Memphis at #18. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Re: NEZ work today

The risers are pre-cast concrete, probably coming from Tindall Corp. in Spartanburg. They are probably waiting for the next sections to arrive by semi.

Re: Doug Gillin?

If it happens, losing Gillin would be a tremendous loss. When a HC leaves, it falls upon the AD to make to hiring decision, subject to the trustees approval of course. If we must find a new AD, is there a search committee formed? And who is our current asst. AD that would most likely be the acting A...

Incentives for Coach Drink

I just reviewed the list of incentives for Coach Drink. His guaranteed base for this year is $750K. He will receive an additional $25K for every win beyond 9, $25K for winning the SB East, $50K for winning the SB Championship, and $25K for making a bowl game. So, he already has an additional $100K c...

Are we a top 25 team?

Plenty of mistakes in all phases of the game today. Relieved that we got the W, but I have to question if we are truly one of the Top 25 teams in the nation.

Re: Construction

This may be done on purpose to provide a little extra practice room for the players. We are probably one of the few FBS teams that actually practices every day on the stadium field. Most teams have two separate fields for practice. It has to be challenging to fit 100 plus players into our stadium fo...

Sad state of affairs in Cullowhee

Things have really gone bad over at WCU. They are 1-5 on the season, with their only victory coming against Div. 11 North Greenville. I doubt they win another game this year. Before the start of last season, they extended a new contract to Mark Spier thru 2025. I hate this for them. Proud to be a Mo...
