Re: Miller hill
Forgive me for my Risk Management background, but that looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Have you seen "suicide hill" behind the music building? Seen it? If you were a student at App and didn’t sled down suicide hill, were you really even a student at App?!  Saw a dude hit the bri...

Re: Seatbacks available for the season
I love the idea of blocking off our seats from "encroachment". Anybody use ones like these on the home side that already have the metal back? Do they push you forward enough that it makes leg room worse off?

Re: Roll Neers…wtf
I dunno, I feel like this is an area that could be better managed by the administration as part of the game day experience. I think back to games at Clemson and LSU where their cheerleaders have a megaphone and start many cheers (on TIME, and NOT when on offense /rant). There's a component of reinfo...

Re: Early, but let's do it now
Ponce making the calls on 3rd-4th and short will be the difference We were 38% on third down last year. 36% in 2021 with Ponce calling the plays. 51% in 2020 with the guy no one liked. Maybe the drop off can be attributed to the QB. We shall see. Those are really scary numbers. Hard to believe that...

Anything is possible. Faith in our system, in our guys, and in Mountaineer pride should be first. This may not be what we're accustomed to, but the meltdown on this board is embarrassing. Worse than what's on the field today. Also, still only down one score. C'mon man! Give me a break. This is an e...

Solid drive, think our stamina and experience burns this clock in the second half.

Couple of monster hits by our D so far.
Late to the food party, but picking up Boonies Deep dish (new restaurant at the old Hardee's by the convocation center in Boone) at half time. Hope it lives up to the hype.

Re: Articles post UNCC
Any injuries from game 1?? Yeah, wondering about Henry Pearson TE specifically. I think it was him that had the arm injury anyway. Seemed like maybe he had a bad angle hitting the turf and then took another shot to the same arm in the 3rd quarter. Looked like his driving fingers were working in tha...

Will also chip in to say from Boone (literally across the hill from Kidd Brewer) this is some of the worst weather for football in a while. It's not too cold, but that's all I can say for it. I give the Apps a B minus, but have to agree with the ESPN announcer: this year more than ever, a win is a w...

"Coach on the hot seat: Steve Campbell, South Alabama" This part may prove to be true, but is currently more accurate about USA's 1st week opponent (Jay Hopson, Southern Mississippi): https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29832740/jay-hopson-southern-miss-scotty-walden-named-interim-coach

Re: NOLA Roll Call
4 headed out this afternoon! Had two cancel on me last minute and too late to donate. We're on the 50 (section 114) and I've got two available in the ticket exchange if anybody's crazy enough to be headed that way without a ticket already. Look forward to King Street taking over Bourbon Street tomor...

Long shot NOLA Bowl
Well, had family cancel on me for the trip to the bowl game yesterday. I've got 2 on the 50 yard line 22 rows up in the Superdome (section 114 behind our bench). Too late to donate, but would have had I known earlier. I'm headed down tomorrow morning and am bringing the tickets with. I'll be checkin...

Bowl Ticket Presale?
Not been able to read the Cabin as much lately, so apologies in advance if a redundant thread or answered elsewhere: Is there a presale for possible bowl choices as in the past? Whether correct or not, I'd thought it showed well if we bought tickets ahead of time for selection purposes. Maybe all th...
