Re: Almost a sellout!!

I think for every ass boil that stays home because they don't get to go to Disney someone else will jump in. If not we have big problems going forward. We want to expand, pay the coach more get rid of the track etc and our fans are whining about bowl location even though we got the best match up an...

Re: Satterfield to Cincinnati?

Since this is such a hot topic, who's your pick to take our HC job should it open? His team is winning 65-0 on ESPN2 right now. Funny you say that because I was wondering if Withers would be a prospect based on this game's result. With that said, I think SS will be back next year, thankfully. Mike ...

Folks, there's a better than average chance that you were watching an in-house production with students running the show.

Re: Kicking is an issue.

That 52 yarder just got off before the play clock expired because the FG unit was rushed on the field rather late. The snap was high as well and Rubino didn't hit it solid. The execution of the whole play was very poor. Kicking FGs isn't as easy as it looks folks. It's a lot like golf except the bal...

Re: What we learned

Yep, a bit too much criticism of Lamb for me to take this seriously. Tenn had a tremendous pass rusher on the edge an elite cover guys. Our game plan was spot on. From what I saw Va. Tech on Saturday, I'll say Tenn. handles them soundly.

Re: ECU vs APP

I personally don't have a problem with one of the games being played in Charlotte. In fact, it does offer the strategic advantage of making UNCC less relevant right in their own backyard. Being in Charlotte may not exactly be to the liking of App fans, but you can imagine what Judy Rose's reaction t...

Re: The Appalachian Way

I've heard from several non-biased employees at the university, that she needs to go. I understand a peacock only comes around every so often, but I believe we may need a better leader than this. The thing about her getting a $50,000 raise after year one is a bit absurd as well. OK, a little contex...

Re: Still mourning DJ resignation

I wish David the best and appreciate all of his contributions. From a work/life balance perspective, there was a time when I struggled with that and I ended up walking away from a officer position with a Fortune 500. I totally get it. Sometimes you just have to change direction order to maintain the...

Re: Comments from new SGA President

My son is a Clemson student. One key difference there is that total student tickets are limited to about 12,000 max and distribution is made by class (grad student, seniors, juniors, etc.) Once the allotment is completely distributed, they're done. So, if Notre Dame or another premier opponent is co...

Re: Future Rankings 1-126

Been doing this long enough to know that games aren't won or lost on paper. No disagreement there. It is all about filling needs and finding the right guys who can fit and mesh with the program. My only point is, I don't see the need to try and downplay their 2016 class or discount the 14 three sta...

Settle was a stud and one heck of a nice guy. He had a couple of stud lead blockers in Cliff Reid and John Edmond as well both were tough as nails!

Re: Georgia Southern Recruiting

But...most of those supposed P5 offers they are showing can't be acted on at the moment. In our case, we've thrown out tons of offers over the past year to dozens of players, but they are no longer standing offers that these players can accept. I wouldn't get to hung up on the recruiting rankings. T...

Moderators, it's YOUR board. Do as you damn well please. You can't make everyone happy, so don't waste your time trying to appease everyone. If something doesn't meet your guidelines, delete it. If it pisses a few people off, so be it. If they don't like it, they can start their own board. Just my $...

Re: 2016 Yosef Seating Stadium Layout

This is the right change at the right time IMO. I'm not into telling people how to spend their money, but consider that the average driver is getting probably a $1,000+/yr break at the gas pump and prices are expected to remain relatively low. A couple is looking at probably $2,000+/yr in savings c...
