We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Early Season Tournaments
It'd be nice to make a decent mid-major field, but who knows. Absent that hopefully next year's schedule gets a few more P5s. The ACC reducing their conf schedule by two games will hopefully be really helpful. The P5's have gotten so brutal with their scheduling tactics that I'm not sure we'll land ...

Does Jalil Beaubrun have an extra year of eligibility? Tate possibly too with the redshirt?

Re: Seeding Scenarios
Looks like Troy & Arkansas St playing for a bid. As much as it sucks not to see App there both these teams will be good representatives. I feel like the new Sunbelt format worked as intended. It's not as though any of the underdogs won four straight only to lose last night... Now if they can just so...

Re: Myles Tate
Rumors he is applying for another year of eligibility? If he stays that’s great news. Man that would be awesome. He had an amazing season, but I feel like the lack of depth with guards was particularly painful down the stretch. As others mentioned if we'd kept Harcum for example this team would've ...

Which players are able to return next year? Does Jalil Beaubrun still have a year of eligibility?
Losing Huntley & Tate is a big blow but hopefully we have less turnover this season.

Great decision by Dodd to drive. Hopefully these FTs fall.

Re: Seeding Scenarios
The tournament overall is a missed opportunity. Frankly , the SoCon tournaments had better venues, atmosphere and just the vibe of March Madness. I’ve been coming down here each year out of loyalty to support the team and have reached the conclusion that either the conference staff is inept or just...

Re: Myles Tate
Both well deserved. Tate should've won POY but the dip to close out February was tough.
Losing out to a Troy player... opportunity to get back at them in a few days... Tate has been keyed in this season, but this doesn't hurt lol.

Re: Seeding Scenarios
Yah totally agree, if all goes well App plays Texas St/JMU teams they've already beat. Arkansas St being on the other side off the bracket is about as good as you could hope for. I felt like Marshall closed out the season looking as good as they have all season. I wouldn't be surprised to see them t...

Re: Seeding Scenarios
Same! The one brightside heading into the tournament is App has the best "top-two" of any team in the Sunbelt (KenPom has had Tate at #1 nearly the entire season). It's even more wild that Tate/CJ are Top 10 in scoring given the relatively high efficiency + App's overall offense not scoring a ton. T...

Re: MBB at Georgia Southern, Tuesday Feb. 25th 7pm
With other results tonight, App State will finish either 5th with a win Friday, or 6th with a loss. Either way, Sun Belt Tournament starts next Friday for the Apps in the 4th round and we'll need to win four games in four days to make the NCAAs. Now whether you believe that can actually happen, is ...

Re: MBB vs Marshall Sat, 2/22 1:00pm
My earlier comment really wasn’t meant to spark a debate about how good/bad/great UGA is. They have played lots of good teams but they are still 5-11 in the conference. If Abson had stayed and let’s say he puts up really good mid major, decent G5 level numbers and we are sitting at 20-9/12-4 tied f...

Seeding Scenarios
So App locked into either the #5 or #6 spot. There may still be quite a bit of movement in the 2/3/4 spots. I think best case for App is South Alabama in the #4. It puts Arkansas St & Troy on the other side (two best teams on KenPom). Looks something like ULL South Alabama JMU Troy Not to mention th...

Re: MBB vs Marshall Sat, 2/22 1:00pm
Yah agree that its a must win. The tiebreaker scenarios are still crazy convoluted at this point but it looks like if App wins out & JMU drops a game then App very likely is the #3 seed. #3 Seed Marshall Troy South Alabama Vs #5 seed ODU Arkansas St South Alabama JMU Massive difference obviously lol.
