Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz

Everyone saying our next coach will use us as a stepping stone ; what do you think Satterfield did? He was a little more selective that others may have been, but that was due more to his family situation than his loyalty to App. He used his success here to get a bigger opportunity elsewhere and jum...

They don't have to worry about Satterfield getting COY next year.
Wouldn't it be funny if Satterfield's replacement did?!

I would f'n love that... print some leaflets and rent a balloon to fly over East Ga!

Re: Bowl Game Coach?

Why not coach Moore? In the 80s there was talk of bringing Kidd Brewer back, before they hired Coach Moore. Not a lock of difference, heck he could be brought on as the Associate Head Coach for the game.

That whole story just makes my day! Whoever our next coach is, he needs to know how important beating Stink is!

Re: Walking an drinking

Maybe if you carried a roadie, from wherever you tailgate to the stadium, it wouldn't bother you so much. I've pretty much been doing that, for 34 seasons it works for me. Also, this was Gardner Web.... if we had played Southern Miss, last week the crowd, would have been a lot smaller and a lot quie...

I think UNC-Concord and App state owe each other.

We got their AD fired, we probably just helped their coach get fired, and they prevented us from joining that dumpster fire C-USA.
That's some funny shit right there!

Re: Triad Viewing Party for PSU?

I attend a lot of games, but was unable to make this one.... so I wound up at Char Bar 7. It would be easy to just go ahead and name that as the official place to go watch App Games in Greensboro. They had it on the Big Screen and multiple bar tvs as well.

I cant tell you how many times i went to the infirmary for an intramurals related bruise or bump, and left with a ice bag, a box of condums and a bottle of penicillin!

Thank you for looking out for us Doc, you were a good man!

Bring back Holly’s Taven in that spot! Friday happy hour in the early 80’s there was awesome.
Was Holly's the grocery store with the pitchers of beer and cheap hotdogs? We used to sit out there and drink pitchers and watch the high flying airplanes cross over.

He could also go to Arkansas. He is very close to Justin Stepp who was at App and is now there.
We talked to Taylor, after the game, and he mentioned that as a possibility. He wants to coach.

Mobile is the better overall experience, but Montgomery had the better stadium and football facilities... yes, I said that!

Our group all said we would go to Mobile, just to visit!

They shoulda waited and picked up The Hud for cheap!
He doesn't run the T.O.
He certainly runs the Trap Option when he's in the gym.
