We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: App Transfer Portal 2025 - OUT
Look at the student athletics fees at SEC schools, they are either zero or very low.

Re: Season ticket prices went up
Here's some simple, back of the envelope, math. At 4.5% the interest payments for the indoor practice facility if we bond $16 million $720,000/year. The $50/year increase on 11,000 season tickets, raises $550,000. Who did you think was paying for the IPF (keep in mind, the increase doesn't even cove...

It's hard to imagine that Gillin would bring in a coach that would outshine him.

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
So UNLV got Dan Mullen. I would really like to know for sure if we contacted him (or his people) about our opening. If we did not (as I strongly suspect) then I would like to know why. Look at the list of criteria that DG listed in the press conference and it is clear that Mullen checks all the box...

Re: What are the "ugly truths" about the football program?
Hey do you think the Clark hire was lazy? You’ve posted this exact message 150 times. We get it. And I was right, so STFU Ok tough keyboard warrior. I figure you’d be in mourning because we didn’t hire Rich Rodriguez. The second of your two tired talking points. He just won a conference title. At J...

Re: What are the "ugly truths" about the football program?
The ugly truth is this: Hiring Clark was lazy (not necessarily bad), extending him was bad. Five seasons from '17-'19, we have fallen as a program. I don't know how may years it will take us to get back to where we were. I don't know that we'll ever get back to being a top 5 to 10 G5 program. I kno...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
It is hard to imagine that any candidate wouldn't understand why Clark was let go. And if they had questions about that, they could be shown any one of Clarks post-loss pressers. I'd personally like a coach who seemed to understand why we lost. And frankly, I don't want any coach who is afraid of th...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
WVU wasn't great before him, and that was pre-NIL. Dana had a few good years but was mostly in the.500 range as well. They don't have the resources many of the P4 schools have and it showed when they played ranked teams. Can someone, please, explain to me why Neal Brown makes sense now but Rich Rod...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
Folks it’s going to be Neal Brown I’ve read that he’s definitely a candidate, but I really I’m not impressed with him. The only good thing he’s done recently is make WVU garbage. WVU wasn't great before him, and that was pre-NIL. Dana had a few good years but was mostly in the.500 range as well. Th...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
Speaking of West Virginia, odd to me that Rich Rodriguez wasn't worth a look here in 2019, but is in the mix to go back to WVU now.

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
From the press release: "We have commenced a national search to quickly find the next leader for App State Football." My guess is they already have somebody in mind and/or have had conversations with a handful of prospects and that we will know something by the end of next week at the latest. That ...

Re: Onto the Next
Well, if we don’t have the financial ability to fire a coach, then I seriously doubt we have the financial ability to compete in today’s game. Welcome to our future. We have been doing it (relatively) underfunded for decades now. But NIL and the portal have changed the game completely and we do not...
