Brown was 3-17 vs ranked teams, and never had WVU ranked in 6 seasons. Clark has more top 10 wins than Brown over the same time period

Brown's success* (1 shared titles in 3 years) was pre SBC expansion. It isn't close to the same league anymore

Brown is a very lazy choice. App would be quite a parachute for 6 years of mediocrity. 1st coach that hasn't been able to win in Morgantown since early 80s

In 6 seasons Neal Brown's WVU was ranked for 1 week.

There is nothing about watching WVU football the last few years that says Brown needs to get a job right away.

A medical school isn't going to change much for App. Also, UNCC won't be getting one either, Wake Forest is opening a 4 year school in Charlotte next year.

I think we overestimate the importance alumni put on their professional school. I don't donate to my medical school (very few of my classmates do either) but I do regularly donate to app academics and athletics.
