Closed practice is the standard in the business as I understand it. I frankly am not going to sit through an entire practice session. I may however have taken a peek or two while in the neighborhood.

We won. Got outplayed for the most part , but it matters not. Made plays when we had too. I slept better .

In 1977 we were the prohibitive favorite to win the conference and head to the Tangerine Bowl. We finished 2-9. That was one cold winter. My vote for a worse team. D Lo has another season. No Bowl in 2026 and he will be gone short of perhaps winning the last five in a row.

The lack of in season improvement is bothersome. We peaked week one. I was sold that the staff had the ability to work with what we had and maximize that talent over time. Didn’t happen. Lack of in game adjustments is an issue. “ We made adjustments at halftime “ is a strategy to lose.

I don’t see WCU making the playoffs but if things fall their way, good for them. I am seriously glad that we don’t play them this season.
