Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

Back just a few years ago, there were a lot of people , a lot of our people who scoffed at any mention of us getting to where we are today. Keep building, keep winning, keep believing ...

Re: Concessions Changes ... Again

Ice was more important for the warm weather games, which it would appear , are past. Ball dropped , plain and simple screw up.I love peanuts , which aren't nuts , but would gladly see them gone rather than having folks facing health issues.I'm thankful my system was preconditioned by eating dirt,ear...

Re: North End zone project

The original plan for the current complex on the west side included Yosef Club hospitality .As the footprint was cut down it was lost , that was and is ,about my only issue with it.Now , years later we , we can address that need. The "Clubroom" can once again be a recruiting tool for Yosef , somethi...

Re: State of the backfield

Based on how he was playing when he went down Harrington would be number one right now if he had not been injured. I am wary of interjecting him at the midpoint of the season though unless we lose someone else.Agree about taking #3 off of returns.Perhaps Heath?

Re: Top 25?

Being ranked at seasons end requires "running the table" .That's the goal. The method is winning one game at a time.

Re: Louisiana up Next

I've been interested in how Napier , and LaLa , have gone about rebuilding their program , modeling it on Alabama ,as best they can. They may be a little ahead of schedule at this point, perhaps .In any event I look for them to regain their status as a factor in the Sunbelt sooner , rather than later.

Play action early and often , that will open it up .Otherwise we don't show what we have until we have to .

I call it a wash overall although the hit on ZT and the "dive" left me incredulous .

I love that young man , what heart.Thinking late into the night about his best NFL strategy.Could he comeback in 19 as a hardship? Go somewhere as a Grad transfer? Or will he recover in time to impress the scout and be drafted ....In any event I hope, and pray , he realizes his dream.

Re: Player of the game

Arky pressured us early and played pretty good defensively throughout .Their best consistent weapon was their punter. We made some big plays on offense but our defense was the story.

Re: USA Today has App #24

We should start a sticky for rankings. I hope we get to the point where it’s no big deal but we aren’t there quite yet. I remember back when it was a big deal for App to be ranked in the I-AA top 25. I remember Furman and Western being on top of the I-AA heap and getting stomped by them and others....
