We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

https://www.clarionledger.com/story/sports/2024/12/18/zach-arnett-unlv-dan-mullen-mississippi-state-ole-miss-football/77047597007/ Good. This is really going to be the first test of Dowell dealing with an unequal playing field in terms of pay. In the NFL and at SC, you can compete on cash so you de...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
This may be one reason. Part of UNLV’s pursuit of Mullen includes an NIL and revenue-share commitment, Nakos reported. The school is gearing up to roll out one of the top budgets in the Mountain West and, later, the Pac-12 once the Rebels make the move You may be right that finances would have kept...

Re: Judge says JuCo years don't count vs NCAA eligibility - Aguilar, K-Rob returning?
I think the 4-years of eligibility rule will be challenged next. Why have an arbitrary eligibility limitation; we're preventing people from "working". There is no limitation on how many years you can spend in school so why have a limitation on the number of years you can play ball (aka work). I *th...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
So UNLV got Dan Mullen. I would really like to know for sure if we contacted him (or his people) about our opening. If we did not (as I strongly suspect) then I would like to know why. Look at the list of criteria that DG listed in the press conference and it is clear that Mullen checks all the box...

Re: Dowell's assistants
We need higher paying degrees ASAP. More disposable income to donate and give. Apparently that doesn’t help. Look at Wake Forest with all those doctors and lawyers as alumni. And they still don’t have great funding. How many of those Doctors & Lawyers went to Undergrad at Wake? I have always been o...

Re: Clawson steps down at WF
Commenting before someone else says, “probly cuzza NIL and the dang transfer portal!!!” It’s probably because he was 67-69 over 11 seasons What do you know? It was because NIL. That’s his scapegoat. Pretty crazy how NIL doesn’t seem to stop teams like Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville State, and Marsh...

But do like a 6’4” WR. QB led a game winning drive against Top 25 Ole Miss. Com...

Re: Dowell Loggains
The last two-thirds of the interview were good. The first couple of questions had a strange tone from AJ, like a woman scorned. DL sounds busy and he comes off as a grinder! He mentioned adopting his scheme to the personnel available, which is great to hear. I would cation however that SC fans clai...

MY #1 GOAL IS TO FIND OUT DEEP DOWN OFF THE RECORD WHAT SHAWN ELLOITT THINKS OF HIM AND THIS HIRE FOR HIS ALMA MATER. that will tell us all we need to know. So doing my research -- Apparently they aren't sad to see DLO go. #1 His staff hires will paint a BIG picture of the future. I want to see how...

Re: Clark
I heard Clark is going to Tulsa to learn under a mastermind I heard Lamb would still be at ETSU In four years when App’s next hire hits it big, and then we could re-evaluate. Oh wait, he’s in Tulsa, getting paid more, yet wasn’t even interviewed by App. Logic checks out. What’s done is done. I’m no...

Re: Maybe DG is is more forward thinking than we realized.
Carolina went with a proven winner. We hope our guy will win. He won big with Brady but had a losing record without him. There is no guarantee. We saw Saban struggle in NFL but win in college. Bill has proven he can win in NFL but he has not proven he can win in college yet. DL has just as many CFB...

Re: Dowell's assistants
I know some folks on facebook groups have griped about all the nfl talent that is singing the praises of Coach DLo and how APP State is pumping those praises out. I think this is strategic because things aren't set in place. That gets NFL talent (past and present) advertising our school and our coa...

Re: Gibson at Marshall
Any chance Coach Clark heads to Marshall as OL coach? His home state. Or do you think he takes the buyout and chills for awhile before making his next move? Wish him the best in whatever he does. I would think with his experience he can get a better job than Marshall OL, but we'll see. He went stra...

Re: Shawn Elliot OC?
DL was getting fired from SC..., someone's been reading too much SC message board material. People think we've got some loons here, that place ran out of tin foil a long time ago. And "Lamb just hasn't won enough" and "will be around in a few years". Right. Don't trust anything you or anyone else s...

Re: Shawn Elliot OC?
Many of their fans want Mike Shula promoted to OC They want Mike Shula? Most are Panthers fans, right? The Panthers finally have the offense I had hoped to see with Cam there, it only took six years after he left. I wouldn’t want Shula within 120 miles of Boone. The fact they want him in at USC is ...

Re: Clark
After all he’s been through, I wouldn’t blame him for taking some time off to enjoy the family and reflect on his HC stint at App. Like the vast majority of fans, I wish him the very best. Considering who App ended up hiring, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Clark wasn't the issue. Of cours...

ENTRIE MARSHALL FOOTBALL TEAM WENT INTO THE PORTAL. #WEWEREMARSHALL apologies if this has been already posted. The AD should lose his job for botching this whole mess with Huff. How did the AD botch it. It is my understanding that Huff was offered extensions that he turned down. The prevailing thou...
