Re: Could App get the invite to the AAC?
I have read before that the commissioner of the AAC, as we know, is dedicated to being grouped with the P5s that he would want a team that competes at that level. The teams that have come up before as possible AAC additions (before our rise to FBS prominence) were BYU, Boise St, and Army. BYU and Bo...

Re: 4:30 PM Presser to Introduce Head Football Coach
After watching the presser, my wife and I looked at each other and we were both like...OK, now that's a football coach!
I never had a problem with Drink but he was a little too much on the polished, robotic side...really glad to have one of our own who came up under Coach Moore's tutelage at the helm.

Re: Bowl Game rankings by Entertainment...conspiracy
Do the schools that play in the bowls split those payouts or does the conference get it and it then becomes part of the equal revenue sharing distributions among all of the member schools?

Re: One last Drink post..I promise
I think I read it was the AD that spoke up but it was like in a joking manner because it was just an obvious gaffe...after all the Sun Belt Conference Championship was his primary goal for the past year and he had just joined Mizzou's staff.

I'd say not because the Sun Belt Championship runs through Boone...Overcashed wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 10:28 amWith that team the way it currently sits I'm not sure Mizzo could win the Sun Belt.

Re: NOLA Roll Call
We were there last year and had a blast. BUT we've got a stupid family wedding this year that we've committed to...although I'm still thinking about blowing it off and heading down and letting my family represent us...I was really hoping one of those other bowls would come through...the Super Dome i...

Re: Doug Gillin?
It appears to me that Doug had planned and set things up for Clark to be the next coach, especially since he had the title of "Associate Head Coach." Also, Doug saw the real potential for Drink to leave earlier this season and I'm sure was already conducting a confidential search of potential candid...

Seems like there were some logistical issues with last year's bowl game also because the ops guy left, was that Josh Thompson?

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC
I'm planning to watch the Rose Bowl (Wisconsin) and Pinstripe Bowl (Wake) for a preview of next year's P5 opponents. My feeling is that Wake next year will be a similar challenge as North Carolina was this year but Wisconsin is a huge step up over South Carolina...it's an opportunity for Mr Clark t...

Re: Doug Gillin?
I have heard a big donor but that is just hearsay at this point. Dunno for sure. I'm just glad he's sticking around a little while longer. Sadly, we can't keep fighting the bigger paychecks forever. IF we get invited to the AAC within the next couple of years we'll have more funding available for s...

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC
So, I'm thinking they did a straw man poll of the BOT and all were good with Clark and since he was already on staff none of the HR stuff had to happen which can slow things down. So they went ahead and leaked the news yesterday that he was going to be named HC before the formal BOT session tomorro...

This is still good for our program as we're still being talked about by the elites in the college football world. Satt getting national attention as ACC coach of the year and now this award with Drink...the more our program is talked about the better. I hope he gets it...anything that keeps us on th...

Re: Doug Gillin?
DG has been very silent. Now that Drink is officially gone, if don't hear something from him in the 24 hours, the concern should be very real. Not necessarily, he is in the middle of a coaching search We hope. A statement should be made by your AD within 24 hours of your HC taking another job. Tick...
