Re: Jalin Moore's Season Officially Ends

What an outstanding young man. Hate this happened but I suspect we'll be watching him play on Sundays for years to come. Thanks Jalin for all that you've done for our team and you'll always be part of our family of course. Good luck to you on your surgery and recovery. I suspect he will end up in t...

Re: Could potential parking deck effect Raley tailgating?

Tailgating balconies of some type would be a nice compromise...so that you've got some open air space on lower levels for festivities but prob cost prohibitive.

Did you notice the project manager's last name? = Trump. I bet he is kin to Donald or we can start that rumor. This parking deck will be "Huuge" and will be the "Best parking deck ever".
He's gonna make Boone Great Again!

Re: GSU at Texas State Tonight

Another SBC East team beating SBC West. In fact, currently the only 2 conference wins by SBC West teams are against Tx State. SBC West teams will need to start playing each other to get some more conference W's.

Re: Jalin Moore

This has been a weird couple of days. People I work with all know I'm a big App State fan and trust me they all knew we had a big game Tuesday night. They've all been like offering congratulations about the big win and my normally excited acknowledgement isn't so excited because I always reply, yeah...

Re: Jalin Moore

Has there been any official information released about Jalin yet? Not that there's anything wrong with doing something at the next game but he could be recovering from surgery and not even in the stadium for the ULL game. Maybe plan to have some kind of special recognition at one of the two last (re...

Re: Satterfield's contract extended!!!

Sexton helped Satt get his longer contract with App too. Sexton may help us keep Satt longer if he can negotiate well with DG. Yep, what better way to get the best deal possible with DG than to posture like this. If Satt makes everyone think he's happy and plans to become a legacy coach then admini...

Re: Arkansas State Receivers Last Night

That was a stupid call to make on a short 3rd down and being so close to your own end zone. Hansen telegraphed the throw the entire way. He was done after that INT. I think Anderson said post-game that he thought they had picked up the first down or he would've changed the call. Shouldn't a coach k...

Hearing "Appy" State is the same as fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Also, it's in the Game Notes as a "Please do not use" name.

It is incredible watching our depth in the secondary and MLB. Our middle backers were fresh the whole night.
I know right, and I couldn't believe the number of 3 and outs the defense forced.

I call it a wash overall although the hit on ZT and the "dive" left me incredulous .
Those two and the un-called pass interference on Sutton.

Re: Congratulations

Not to pick apart a great road conference win but we didn’t look great on offense. That being said we missed a relatively easy FG and had we been sharper it’s a 45-9 blowout at least. Can’t see another close game until Troy. Heck they loaded the box all game and we still rushed for 246 yards. Got t...

Re: Player of the game

Coach Brown has done an outstanding job with his defense. Think about the guys we lost on defense last year and this group looks even stronger. I hope we get that guy locked in on a good contract, he's impressing the hell out of me.

Marshall did have some violations but I don't believe their wins or their rankings were vacated.
Should have it sounds like, and in my mind it does. We haven't cheated.

Re: Big matchup with Arkansas State

Don't have time to read this yet but saw this:

While the Red Wolves secured a winning record against non-conference opponents for the first time since 1995,

I knew that were horrible against OOC opponents recently, but since 1995? Unbelievable..

Re: I assume this is the big news.

It's amazing to me that Taylor led our team through the most successful FCS to FBS transition in the history of college football and if our kicking game had been on track would have led us to two P5 victories during that transition which is unheard of. He's just been awarded the highest honor in the...
