Re: Furloughs
Mens Soccer is never coming back. This administration has been looking to drop mens soccer for years. In the current climate it will never return. As college sports and all colleges, in general, change their model to match the new reality there are going to be a lot more male sport cuts than anythin...

Re: App cutting multiple sports
Baseball is a bigger money drain than those other sports, but administrators like baseball so it wasn’t going.
Don’t underestimate the impact this will have on men’s outdoor track and field. Their scholarships literally were just cut in half since athletes did both indoor and outdoor

Re: South Park Takes a Jab at the NCAA
Is the school making money off the computer science major? And are they using the money that the computer science major brings in to pay large salaries to coaches and admins instead of compensating student?

Re: South Park Takes a Jab at the NCAA
The only difference is the computer science major isn’t putting his body and the potential of getting a major, life changing injury on the line.
Meanwhile ncaa and colleges profit from the players risk.
As much as it hurts, there’s a lot of truth in the satire in this clip

Re: WSOC at High Point 7 PM Watch ESPN
I get optimism for field hockey. I don’t see it yet for VB. It was an exhibition and they’ve struggled the past two years with massive injuries. I hope they can turn it around. I just don’t get the continued optimism for men’s soccer. I watched them play wake forest last year and they did not even r...

Re: WSOC at High Point 7 PM Watch ESPN
Both programs are trending downward with way more funding then they have ever had in the past. Both coaches have shown an inability to get results in the past 2 years and it is becoming a pretty common sight for most of our programs that are not named football, wrestling and track and field. Worriso...

Prayers for his family but let’s see some results before we say he should be giving Coach Strickland advice on anything.

Re: WSOC Exhibition @ ETenn Bucs 4 PM Today
I have to agree mafia. As a womens sport In a division one athletic program that houses football, I can’t buy the argument that the funding isn’t there for that trip. And how does Okeefe get a mention here. You think he has the answers for women’s soccer recent struggles? Last I checked half his ros...

Come on man, it’s still an absolute ridiculous statement to say is going to be one of the best coaches in the history of the school after a season. You obviously have a personal relationship with him and his family, and that’s great. I I never said we weren’t lucky to have him, I said your statement...

My post was more of a dig at the guy that said he was going to be the best ever. He’s only A year and a half in, he still deserves time to get his guys in.

According to someone on here this guy is going to be the best coach in the history of the school in any sport.
With the regression of this team over the past 15 months, I don’t even see him getting back to a winning record in the next three years

Boone Goone , sorry to burst your bubble but he won’t be. It was always be football at this school and the wrestling coach and t&f will be up there. If he ever gets close to what pollard did here it will be a miracle. Then he will be gone the following year

M. Soccer Season over
Thank God . I might have died from boredom if I watched this team play one more game. Big season next year and big offseason coming up.
Couldn’t see any improvement in year two with mostly his own players. Really doesn’t get worse than ending up in cellar in sunbelt below Howard

Re: Msoc: Home VS Southern
This team has regressed badly over the past 2 years. You don’t think he definitely knew what his recruiting budget was when took the job? He has to have more operating and scholarship money than any coach in the history of the program. I wonder if it’s too early for him to be worrying about his job.
