Re: CLASSLESS JERK!!!!!!!!!!

We could have a rowdy student section and still show a little class, hopefully with no f- bombs that kids can hear.

Been to the gyms in the old days - Catawba, Guilford, HP and more. Saw Daranty, Logan (my favorite), Artis, Drew and more. Those were the days. Days of team ball. Fun to watch.

Re: Former App State QB Stephon Brown commits to TCU

Another pro player from the Wilmington area. That area has turned out some great ones. Roman Gabriel, Sonny Jergenson and of course, Johnny U, were my favorites.

MSU at APU

Visiting Nashville, and went up to Clarksville to watch Murray State at Austin Peay in a battle of the two at the top of the OVC. Visited with Matt after the game. It is always refreshing to talk with him. We have a good coach now, I believe, but we missed out and spun our wheels for 8 years not hir...

Re: LSU Pole Vaulter sets new world record

Did he have some sort of wings strapped on? Over 20' is something to behold. I watched high school kids get over 14' (unfortunately, not our kids) 30 years ago when I coached track and field and I thought at that time the Olympic/world vaulters were reaching a peak unless they improved the material ...

A&T might rule the Big South. It is weak.

I have a sister in the west Rowan area. They rarely go to Salisbury. Too many problems there.

Just because a coach is young doesn't mean he can relate to players better than old coaches. That's a fallacy.

Re: Why Is College Football Attendance Tanking?

Football at college and pro level ...
1 Too expensive
2. Takes forever to play the game - media TOs, challenges and reviews, etc..
3. Bad fan behavior
4. Too much player antics. Who wants to watch demonstrations after every play? "Look what I did"

Re: Roof out

Frankly, I don't give a dam if we run a Wide Tackle 6 or a Split 6 (that's blow some minds, including our own) as long as we are the best at it. Let the coaches coach, the players play, and the fans just cheer. Whatever our coaches decide, I'm in 100%.

Re: Louisville

The average fan, even the above average fan, has little clue how to coach or run a football team. That's why they are called "arm chair coaches." And to be fair, no football coach could run your job as well as you do, whether it be computer science, farming, flying a plane, fixing an engine, etc.. T...
