Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
we have problems in every phase of the game. I’m curious what teams with more than 50 new faces are doing well…. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/article/college-football-viewers-guide-here-are-all-the-new-coaches-including-uncs-bill-belichick-130059614.html ^^^ here’s an article from pres...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Logains experiment is over. App State is over. It was a blast guys. This fan base is actually insufferable at times. Figure out what the **** you want. We fired a coach in December, which was the right decision. But with that decision, comes inevitable rebuilding. We have 60 new players and lost wh...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I ask this with all seriousness. It’s mentioned over and over that we can only compete with a big influx of money. How exactly is that going to work at App? How much money is needed? What is the ROE that is acceptable? If we go 6-6 on average is that worth it? Will money buy desire? Will money prev...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
That seems fair. Vegas usually give about 3 pts to the home team, so App is basically a 2 TD underdog. I wouldn't be happy about a 2 TD loss, but considering it's a rebuilding season, it wouldn't keep me awake at night either.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Sep 21, 2025 11:51 amBoise St. -17.5 , Vegas thinks we are using a backup QB likely

Re: Week 4 games
All things considered I would rank paying a massive buyout to a college football coach to basically just go away ($22m) among the top 5 most insane wastes of money. There are obviously plenty of examples in society as a whole but in the sports world this absolutely blows my mind. If I recall didn’t...

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
I want to see Joey succeed and make the NFL. If he makes the NFL, that can be a selling point to App. Come to App for two years, do well to get looks from the SEC which can propel you to the NFL. Pulling for Joey to succeed is to also pull for the status of your own football team. I’ve been parroti...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
It's certainly possible that App gets blown out in this game. But man, I'd be ecstatic if they pull off the win. First, it would be awesome to beat a good team like Boise. Second, all the doom-n-gloomers who are freaking out over one loss would have to eat crow.

Re: So Miss discussion
The lack of memory and football knowledge in this thread is impressive. 1. That wasn’t the Southern Miss teams of the past last night. That was quite literally the Marshall team- coach, players, and all- that won the SBC and beat App last year. They are a good team. 2. First year head coaches almos...

Re: So Miss discussion
Oh! Here’s another fun coaching record to look at:
Year 1: 5-5
Year 2: 5-5
Year 3: 6-7
Year 4: 11-2
What coach is that?? OLD PAL ELI DRINKWITZ! That’s right, after going 12-1 at App, he was perfectly mediocre for three years. The next three years he has had Mizzou consistently in the top 25

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)
Why is there a thread about a player that doesn’t go here and a team that isn’t App. Joey Aguilar was the former QB for Appalachian State. Many people, myself included, enjoyed watching him and continue watching and rooting for him this year. Some of these people with this shared interest discuss t...

You never get tired of beating the NIL/transfer drum do you? WNBA playoffs start tomorrow. Watch that instead since you obviously hate college football.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:03 pmI agree the proud program we knew for so long is over. Transfers and the money aspect has killed it

Nightmare first half. Gut check time for the whole team and coaching staff. Lots of football to be played and not at all out of reach, but HAVE to lock in.

Hate UT, but would love to see Joey ball out.
Never had a reason to pull for Jax State, but there’s a first time for everything![]()

Re: Game day Operations
Count me in as one who does not like the new “Welcome To The Rock.” I like the thinking outside of the box, and the attempt at fan engagement, but some things don’t need fixing. Leave it to Sean Connery, Jerry Moore, Luke Combs. Keep it simple. GO APPS!! Agree. Oddly enough, the only tradition rece...
