Re: Block Party!
Amen! Thank you PBR-Hat-Guy for celebrating some of what this basketball team does well! That is why I chose this thread to comment on tonight’s Stink game. Folks on the game threads choose to focus too much on our weaknesses or shortcomings. I get it this is a bulletin board for discussion but hel...

Re: It's Burger Time - GW discussion
For the entire time Burger is our QB, if you are not at least grilling one burger, you will be tempting fate with the game gods..😂😂 Let's not leave it to fate. There's probably a burger for each game. GW - Burgers and Dogs Heels - Impossible burger (no meat) EZU - Shrimp Burger Wyoming - Cowboy Bur...

Re: Season Tickets SOLD OUT
I must admit I did not think this would happen after the increase in Yosef Club commitment required to maintain season tickets and no marquee P5 match up like North Carolina. Obviously and happily, I was wrong!!! Congratulations!!!

The whole Sunbelt East got a snub. Marshall should be there too.

Re: Single game tickets
Did I read it correctly on the AppStateSports.com that the UNC single game tickets are $150 each? Whoa! Never thought I would see prices like that for an App State game.

I still have the same seats too. I remember it being wickedly cold and the seeing some of the most vicious hits in that game. Really smash mouth football!

I really LOVE touchdown Santa. Brings back good memories! Hope to see several. I have my 2007 Championship Santa hat ready for the game. Anyone remember those!

Re: Peoples
Peoples does look big! Get a year in the Strength and Conditioning program and he could be legit beast out there. We have had some great running backs in the last few years (Richardson, Fox, Moore) but none with P5 size. Peoples may get there!

Re: At what point do the Red Shirts begin to play?
I believe the biggest is Jalin Moore. The biggest worry I have with RP is the lack of a real "bull" on the short yardage plays. Williams is coming along but like to have a go to big guy for those plays. I am thinking Peoples could fill that role.

At what point do the Red Shirts begin to play?
At this point of the season we have four maybe five games (if we are in the Sunbelt championship game) left in the season. Under the new red shirt rules can't we begin to play some of the promising red shirts freshmen without burning their red shirt if they only play in four games or fewer? I unders...

Re: My favorite app uniform ever
Going to really show my age but I like the Old Gold Helmets, Old Gold Pants, Black Jersey circa 1970s. Looked bad ass..but of the recent uniforms I like the all black and the all white with black helmets. Of course...just my opinion...and it is for the players...and I am all right with that!

Re: Clemson 2024
I would have loved to have a home and home...even a two for one but love that we a scheduling the one of the top programs in the country. We have to kept paying these games if we hope to improve our brand.
I really like that this is a drivable game. I will be there!

Re: MBB: Georgia State@ APP
We need to continue to "hold serve" at home and pick up a few wins on the road against the lower division if we want to contend this year. Let's hope Holmes becomes a real problem for the rest of the Sunbelt!

Re: Post Game Georgia St Thoughts?
I think Stringer may have been the biggest improvement in the GA St game. I kept worrying about the big gain coming on those bubble screens and each time Stringer was then with a big open field tackle. I don't think those big plays that killed us against ULM and UMass happen if Stringer was playing ...

Re: Yellow helmets
I think they actually looked pretty decent on TV. I like the all black the best but it the team likes the variety and if it helps with recruiting I am all for it!
