Re: MBB App State vs. Montana State 4:30 PM

1st bad loss of the new era (15.5 point favorites). We’ll see how we respond tomorrow.

I would hate to go 1-2 or 0-3 this weekend.

Re: GSU @ App St. Game Thread

I may be alone here, but this game has nothing to do with USC. On offense we can’t throw with wind/rain. On D we lost 2 practice days for a TO offense, which is big.

Granted we shouldn’t lose but this scenario has nothing to do with next week.

Re: GSU @ App St. Game Thread

Said this in the chat 1 minute into the game. We won’t win without a huge play from D or ST.

Weather/refs etc reduces our offense

Re: Louisiana Game Time Chat

TBD - I felt like we were throwing some body blows. We had TOP and a lot of heavy runs. Perhaps we felt we could wear them down? I also feel like early they committed to stopping the run and we threw, but they made adjustments.

Re: UL

Posted RPI stats on 3rd page. Updated with some of today’s games in (I’m assuming UNC wining has an influence here) 10-09 at La Lafayet. 4-1 (1-0) 56 Scouting 45-43 W Moved from 44-43 to 45-43. While this is only a point, I believe it shows the metrics are starting to tilt to App. I suspect the line...

Re: UL

I like RPI data. About this point in the year, it becomes more relevant. According to their analysis: 08-31 E. Tennessee St. 1-3 (0-2) 186 42-7 W 09-07 Charlotte 2-3 (0-1) 103 56-41 W 09-21 at N. Re: 2-0

Improvement from last year? Not necessarily on defense. But holistically week over week, I see improvement. UNCC has definitely improved from last year, they potentially could win CUSA. All I’m saying is we are 2-0, the sky isn’t falling.....yet and we don’t know yet what we have. UL Monroe May upse...

2-0

Sorry!! Not falling for some of the sorrow on here! We are 2-0. We are improving every week. We have a bye to figure out some weaknesses. CHARLOTTE f ing can’t live for anything but to beat us and we won by 15. Not 1,3,7,10 but 15. Do we look invencible? No! But it’s college football! Nebraska lost ...

Re: D-I Basketball Signing Period Will Open Tomorrow Thru May 15th

I don’t feel like I really know what’s going on with basketball right now. Is this guy in addition to the earlier mentioned non s holly or is this the non scholarship from Presbyterian? As far as taking recruits, to me feels like it happens all the time. Seems like once this guy openened back up, he...

Re: Yosef Club Tour

I know they don’t want to hear it, but we really need the half plan back! We are a young family and can at most make half of the games, so at this point, we just can’t do a full season. And if you look at the success @ ASU from 05 to now, there are a lot of young families in our same boat that are p...

Re: Yosef Club Tour

Went last night as well: Vball & W BBall players @ App are lucky to have coaches that really care about them. You could just see how much they loved what they do and the ladies on their team. The folks that put the event together worked very hard on it and I thought it was a great event. $10 was a s...

Re: Young to Va Tech

66, you seem to have good info. Everything I’m reading makes me believe VT is in a very difficult position right now. Lost senior leadership, one guy announced he’s leaving early, 2-3 others are transferring and their recruits are backing out. I get that an assistant there may make more than what we...

Basketball DK Edition

Wanted to start a thread where we could follow all of the updates regarding Men’s Basketball. We have a coach and there has been some discussion on assistants, but: Any reaction from the team? Are our recruits still committed? Any incoming/outgoing transfers? Any new recruits? When we DK start worki...

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

One question...I think I already know the answer. I am a Yosef member with two young kids and can’t make every home game, but will go to 1 or two. If I do this, I don’t get parking because I didn’t buy the season tickets. Is there any plan like a half season I could buy and still get parking?

Re: App Grad with an awful idea

I think that is part of my problem with it. That is complete horse ****. Today in CLT, city leaders love to pat themselves on the back for “creating” bike lanes and then requiring cyclists to remain in the lane. I ride a decent amount and have never seen any maintenance or cleaning of these lanes. W...

App Grad with an awful idea

Wasn’t sure where else to put this, but had to bring awareness to a bill from one of our alumni. This is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard:

Re: RIP Duck Pond Field

Will there be any green space left that made the campus so fantastic? How much longer before the park is gone as well? I understand expansion/growth is needed but the expense of what makes a campus unique isn't always the best plan. To quote the Counting Crows: Don't it always seem to go That you d...

Re: Lance Ware to ASU

Think Jalin & Chris Willis went to crest, but yes there are plenty of good recruits in Shelby. They had a 4 star LB last year that went to VT and a 3 star LB just committed to NCSU.
