Re: Troy at Home

All things considered this team should have notched wins over JMU, Troy, and Georgia Southern. We didn't. I like Fox, but felt some of his game management early in the season was poor. Still I feel like there has been noticeable improvement over the last half of the season. Off the top of my head a...

Re: Troy at Home

In a nutshell, he should be able to finish out his current contract, next season's performance should provide the answer. He should be given the benefit of doubt and by next season we should see improvement. If not, then cut him lose.

Re: Troy at Home

It's hard to argue with that, I guess. Unfortunately, when it comes to App Basketball lesser opponents are few and far between. Once again, it is what it is.

In other words, bring out the popcorn/beer/soda/whatever, sit back and enjoy. It is what it is, might as well find some type of entertainment and make the best out of the situation. LOL

Re: Troy at Home

I guess my question is somewhat debatable. That is, some may say that whenever an opportunity arises, at home, against a lesser opponent, on a Saturday, we always fold. Nevertheless, here's wishing your prognosis is correct and we do in fact win today.

Troy at Home

Today, once again another opportunity for the Apps to spark interest and gain momentum heading into tournament time arises. Once again, the Apps meet an opponent at home which (on paper) they should defeat. How will it end? Will the Apps rise to the occasion or once again fall flat on their faces? H...

Re: 2018 Baseball

I will choose my evaluation time of this team on my own and others can choose to do whatever they want to. And I don't have to give a flying flip what they think and they don't have to give two s#%&s what I think. That's what makes this country great. ;) Agreed, spoken like a true Watauga Native. :D

Re: 2018 Baseball

The veteran (non new players) bullpen aside, the new players in fact did well. Just calling it the way it is, "it is what it is", sorry if that offends some. Please don't shoot the messenger.

Re: 2018 Baseball

I realize it's only the first game, however, it APPears the bullpen has picked up where it left off last season. Then again, it's only game one.

Re: The Quarterbacks

I went to an event last week with Coach Satt and Doug G. Satt said it's anyone's race but that ZT would be very difficult to unseat as the #1 at this point. Coach said he was fast, smart, and had a big arm. I don't want anyone to take what I'm about to say wrong: But, something tells me that ZT is ...

If you lose to someone like UMass and can't beat a P5 team like Wake, you ain't getting no votes. Destroying Tulane was the perfect way to finish
Holy Toledo, we played Tulane? :D

Once again, Saturday game with an opportunity to spark some interest in the program against what appears to be an inferior team. Once again, unprepared and a collapse. Then some wonder why there is little interest in the program.

Although not currently ranked nationally, App is #6 in the Mid Major Poll. Coach Bentley (Newland Native) has had our Program on a roll for a few years now :D https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/wrestling ... jor-top-20
