Re: NCHSAA: NC Prep FB Moved To Feb

Looking forward to seeing some Watauga football in snow drifts butt hole deep to Wilt Chamberlain with a wind chill 10 below zero.

Re: Schedule

Notre Dame needs an opponent. I live in the Upstate and we had been hearing Clemson was likely to go with either Akron or The Citadel for their OOC. Now, Akron has shut down along with the rest of the MAC and The Citadel had 35 players not report to school because of Covid concerns. Date is 9/19 an...

Re: Schedule

I am never surprised or shocked at what I read on here. After all we have had the “fire Satt” thread, the “fire Roof” thread and bench Taylor Lamb among others. To read someone criticizing the athletic department for schedule issues is beyond me. Everything is both uncertain and really jacked up ri...

Re: ACC announces 10 game conference schedule with one game allowed out of conference

"And if fans aren't allowed or greatly reduced then, to me, there's nothing wrong with college football on TV every night of the week" Sounds like a plan to me! Besides there's nothing on TV anyway, football every night would be a god send. I was going to say kiss the beautiful earth or take a dip ...

One person brought up a good point. They may try to reschedule that game to a future year when fans can be in attendance and opt for an easier "sure" win.
Therefore, forfeiting our game and surrendering The State Title to App.

Re: ACC announces 10 game conference schedule with one game allowed out of conference

"All non conference game opponents selected by the respective school must be played in the home state of the ACC institution. They are allowed to play anyone they can schedule as long as its a home game." In that case, could you perceive Wake playing Villanova instead of App? Easier opponent, and on...

I don't see how they could ever enforce this. Do they expect businesses to ask for a copy of a utility bill at the door?
Correct, unless visitors to the county have their status tattooed on their forehead how would the business know? Maybe the utility bill is the answer.

For some that may be true, and I knew someone would rebuttal with what you saying as I typed what I typed. There is also no denying that for many the confederate flag and racism are closely linked and even more so for those farther north you go when it looses any meaning to being from the south. If...
