Re: new oc

Got to earn the job, regardless. Just want the better player under center, nothing to be disappointed about.

Re: Snow Friday in Boone

We (family) used to live at the top of Queen Street, heading west out of town. The road was barely wide enough for two cars to get by. After the town plowed the street over and over after a few blizzards, the snow was pushed on the sides of the road ten foot high. It was a snow tunnel from one end o...

I remember being at a bong fire on top of Tater Hill when it was 15 below zero. We had plenty of "anti-freeze" though.

Government getting involved in the loan process was a catalyst in the increased costs of higher education. "Free education" will cause further inflation.
Since the government will forgive student loans, to be fair my mortgage loan should be forgiven too.

Re: Decision Announcements

A crazy thought on Harrington: If he does miss the season (or enough of it to redshirt), that would be two seasons that he's missed due to injury. That should make him a pretty easy case to qualify for a medical redshirt/6th year should he want it. Then with this past year not counting, he technica...

Re: Werts - transfer portal

We don’t need him, but humor me for a second. Shai comes to Boone. 4th quarter, tie ballgame. Shai Werts catches the game winning TD for the Apps, as we knock off the Stink in front of 30,000 at The Rock...  It’s about the only thing this rivalry is missing. GO APPS!! Nope, not even goin...

Did they have potato salad or slaw in the concession stands?
Like my hotdogs with mustard, onion and slaw. Tater salad on the side.

Re: Bowl streak

Speaking of notable bowl streaks, the beach chickens are 0-1. They also boast a perfect 0-0 record in SBC Championship games. Glad they will always have 2020 to reflect back on as their season in the sun. OUCH, OUCH, OUCH. Man, that was just lowdown. They's gonna be some whinin' from Conway if they...

Several of their players sat behind our bench at the MB Bowl, taunting our players.
That's the dumbest thing they could have done, our players are not going to forget that, particularly come next fall !!

Being co-champion is fine and dandy, but being the last undisputed champion is even better. Six bowl wins in a row sure feels fine too. It's great to be a Mountaineer! Go Apps!!

Re: gamecocks out of bowl

Sorry but I think our guys are done. I know the fans would like another game but it's clear our seniors have put a wrap on their careers. Agreed, tomorrow is Christmas Eve and other plans with family, etc. have probably been made. Besides, we beat UAB's ass last year. Oh, by the way South Carolina ...
