Re: Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?
Miami will get in if the ACC champ is left out. I think Alabama is in trouble. They wont leave out Notre Dame.

Re: Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
As someone limited to TV only for watching the games, my focus would be to ask Gillin to increase the quality of the equipment and watchability. I'm an old(er) head and like hearing DJ and Avery. It's like comfort food. But the wide angles and sometimes blurry picture quality is so noticeable compa...

Re: Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
This thread has gone off the rails...so...I will take it off the rails some more. If we are going to go into debt we should go into debt and build a medical school. It will be by far our best return on investment and it should happen in Hickory. We could easily replace Wake Forest. We need the facil...

I would prefer some receivers that can block....hopefully we go back to a run heavy game.

Re: Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
Move the APPSTATE singing of the Alma Mater to 30minutes before kickoff instead of hyping up the crowd to destroy it at the last second with the singing of "Cherished Vision" Apps Alma Mater. Or better yet play it at the end of the game by the band.

Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
With the season over.... I am sure Gillin needs a list of things to work on. No better place than Yosef Cabin members to make him a list. I will start. There is no reason for there not to be a gate/entry before the game at the top of the hill in front of the old Quinn Center to enter the game for fa...

Re: Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?
I have been saying for years...this is where the money is going to get too heavy to ignore. Sunbelt and ACC have a $BIG$ reason to make sure JMU and Virginia win their conference championship game. IE Conference refs calling the game in a slanted way for the conference who pay their salary. JMU in t...

Re: UNCA in Asheville
This team sucks offensively, no flow, can’t shoot, free throws embarrassing percentage. Should not be getting dominated by these mid majors. We are getting dominated by these mid majors because we are low majors. I bet we fare pretty well in the Sunbelt. Sad to say but the conference is not good in...

Re: Hanging on for 26
In the new world, I would recruit 1st string and 2nd string "football" players and then I would recruit the best athletes (Fast, strong or big....hopefully all of those) at that point and try to TEACH them football during the year. Hopefully by the time you start having injuries to your 1st and 2nd ...

Re: Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?
Agree that Miami should get a bid if an ACC is required to get a bid. UVA had a relatively easy nonconference schedule. Miami played ND and Florida (even if a down year fur Florida) So winning the conference should take a backseat to Miami beating notre dame in September? The point of the thread is...

Re: FB vs the fake ASU Saturday at 2:30
We are just not good. When we were winning I was worried we were going to get ECU in a bowl game to sell a lot of tickets. ECU would beat us by 50 this year. I hope DLO can turn it around next year. If you cant run (not throw) a play to get 1 yard when the game is on the line....you really don't des...

Re: FB vs the Thundering Turds, Sat at 2:30
Yall keep doubting and hating. DLo knows what he is doing. What a game. Go app Im gonna keep doubting.....we barely won with THREE turnovers. That two point try at the beginning of the game was a ridiculous coaching decision. I truly hope i am wrong. By the way....great job players....you dug deep ...

Re: Lane Kiffin Sweepstakes
It’s funny that he is basically taking official visits to the campus and they are offering contracts, which is exactly what he will be doing to portal recruits soon. I don’t recall a situation as interesting as this where there is one known hot commodity and everyone wants him and everyone knows it...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I guess I am "old school"... I would like 80% of our $ to the trenches on both sides of the ball😂 You can put 80% in the trenches and still have a mobile quarterback and an offense that is tough to guess where the ball is going. Covering the receivers coming out of the back field is tough to do. It...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
It will also be interesting to see if we come to play next week , and the week after. Can the staff hold the team together to at least be respectable? Dukes are going to beat us by 50....and they will need to run the points up for style points for the CFP. I truly pray I am wrong, but they look leg...

Re: Stink discussion
Watching us last night and then Tulane/Memphis now is like watching a different sport. Cannot believe how far the gap has gotten for us even in G6. Money has to be tight for all Sunbelt schools...but the conference needs to figure out a way to up the minimum for what the Football camera angles for ...

Re: Stink discussion
Saint333 had me excited until i read it was sarcasm. I would love to run an option. We seem to focus on a quarterback that needs us to "showcase" his throwing talent. No thanks. (I love Joey Aguilar and i am glad he is getting time at Tennessee but i want to win amd only win. I dont wamt to showcase...
