Our secondary gets 4 interceptions and the D gets 8 sacks.

App 38
Red Wolves 17 - with a late TD to get to 17
I called it 38 - 17.....I thought you meant end of 3rd.
I need 2 more interceptions and no more points. I think we have 8 sacks.

Re: 1992 NLCS - Goalposts

I pose this question from time to time to see who remembers. Since the World Series is about to start, I think it's appropriate timing. Who remembers way back in 1992 when the Braves beat the Pirates to advance to the World Series (the Sid Bream score from 2B play), that during the aftermath of tha...

Re: Marshall keeps rolling!!! Could be their NY6 year.

I think Marshall has scored over 30 on everyone except us and those who thought the Eastern Kentucky game didn’t mean much.....Troy squeaked by today.

Marshall rolls again.....they have a good team.

Re: Hypothetical....Would you? Game at home 7% or ???

In my hypothetical...I should have stated "And WE KEEP ALL GATE MONEY" after we pay for the cost of running the stadium. I think it would be one of our largest crowds. ALSO, We get to sell all tickets first to App Fans. What is the capacity of the stadium with restrictions? What could that bring in...

Check out BYU first...
BYU cannot be a G5 conference champion. NY6 must be a G5 conference champion.

Re: Hypothetical....Would you? Game at home 7% or ???

I would not be opposed IF, and this would not happen, but if the gate was considered our money and we could be guaranteed enough gate to offset the cost of the game and that could help our athletic budget. GaSt would not agree to that and I am not even sure if there would be enough fans to offset t...

Marshall keeps rolling!!! Could be their NY6 year.

If we get our act together and run the table....Marshall controls the NY6. AAC are going to beat up on each other. Marshall needs to keep winning like they are winning and we need to "walk the dog" on the sunbelt and they will be in.

Hypothetical....Would you? Game at home 7% or ???

If possible...would you be willing to move our home game to Atlanta to play Georgia St. if it meant more fans could attend. I would vote yes for it. Wondered what the rest would think. I think Georgia and Alabama are allowing more fans. Just a thought....not something I would fight for but I sure wo...

Re: Stated goals

My "stated goal"....To enjoy 6 Saturdays in BOONE at App Football games with friends. Bowl Games are a bonus weekend with said friends. I love our national exposure on weeknight games but I hope we stop playing them. IF we don't though, It will be alright.

Always a grinning.

Re: What offense are we running? Serious question.

"Not knowing where the ball is going" is my memory of the last 20 years of App football. I hope we get back to that type of offense real soon. If the ball is only going one place and the opposing coach did his homework, he only needs to be right 1 out of 3 times to make it hard to score. I do think ...

Re: What offense are we running? Serious question.

Back to the original question....Two of the responses were aimed at the question, the rest were rants. Our spread offense was a thing of beauty. I would love to see it come back. Who is our quarterback coach? Offensive lines are very important but execution of the whole offense and timing of offensi...

What offense are we running? Serious question.

Has our offensive scheme changed? We used to run the spread offense, giving the quarterback a lot of options. (with zone blocking) This is looking more like a one play option called from the sidelines. As you can tell from the subject question I am just a big fan but no expert on football...Please h...

Re: Appalachian St at Marshall Game Thread

We got beat by a really good team. They looked good and executed. We got plenty of calls our way and got beat. I love this team and they never gave up. Unfortunately they ran into a good team. My biggest take away is the G5 teams get zero respect. This Marshall team was/is the best team we have pla...
