Re: Portal time 25-26
Do they really have ties to Boone either? On the weekly show at the Ale House, when asked what they like to do when not football, there are some that mention hiking, fishing, etc Many talk about hanging with teammates/playing video games, versus experiencing what The High Country has to offer. .. a...

Re: Portal time 25-26
I propose the team be renamed the Boone Mountaineers. Pretending these guys have ties to the school is a joke.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Don't worry about it. Buy at the gate and sit wherever you want. My experience at past bowls. That way if something happens you can't go no tickets to try to sell.EastTNMountaineer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 9:41 pmAnybody know when tickets go on sale and where to purchase? Thanks

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
Forgive me for my inability to post the link. I just saw a 3:39 video of Coach Gibbs of NC A&T making a somewhat emotional statement regarding the struggles of his team. THIS is more the type of response I would like to hear from Loggains as opposed to the same old crap. If you want to see the video...

Re: Winning….
I checked out before this season began. I can't bring myself to go to games or even watch on TV It's the slow destruction of a once great program where kids wanted to play, not for the money, but for the pride of playing for a premier fcs and later fbs program. I've loved this program since the 80's...

Seems to me if there are 2 Starbuck’s on campus that at least one KK is justified. Is there already a good doughnut on campus?

All I know is there are a lot of coaches and teams that can’t wait to embarrass them if they can. I wish him luck but have my doubts.

Re: It's time guys...Clark must go
Funny that some here worry more about the effect of the negativity regarding the abysmal coaching rather than the actual abysmal coaching. Isn’t that the truth. Coaches know criticism is part of the deal. They get paid well to put up with the criticism that goes along with the praise. Direct insult...

Re: Booing
Like has been said, the opposing team gets fired up being booed. I think it would be funny for our crowd to be prompted to get quiet just before the visitors run onto the field, accompanied by the sound of crickets over the sound system.

Re: Internet service at KBS
To reiterate what others have said. Scores of other games have disappeared. If that is intentional I don’t understand the reasoning. Many of us who truly care about our game also care about what others in our conference are doing. It is relevant.

Keep in mind Georgia State’s run defense is bad. We won’t do this against everyone.

Re: Real reason for JMU loss
In addition to wearing a white shirt on Black Saturday I spoke to a JMU fan sliding by me to leave when it was 28-3. I said “It’s not over”. He, not looking too happy said “Yes, it pretty much is”. I apologize for encouraging him to stay and not saying something like “Yeah, we’re skull dragging you ...

Re: Real reason for JMU loss
For reasons somewhat out of my control I was running late getting out the door to head up mountain. Grabbed first App shirt I saw in drawer, forgetting it was Black Saturday. I wore a white “Head for the mountains of Boone” shirt. My first time ever not wearing black on black Saturday. I apologize p...

Re: Marshall fans already poking the bear
Marshall coming to the belt has a lot of older App fans fired up. They remember. I expect we will travel heavy for that one Wk 10. Speaking of Marshall, anyone see Rand. Moss play at KBS in 1996? I did. I remember the bomb from Pennington to Moss. Long touchdown. Quite honestly they made it look so...
