Re: 2021 Expectations...
“Casual fans”, sure that’s an easy one. “Engaged fans” .I wish but no. Not close. Participation in this forum costs nothing. I don’t see 60,000 users .A couple of thousand I suppose. Nowhere close to 60k. YOSEF Club members , what three thousand ? Four or five thousand? Doubt it. No. Casual fans ar...

Re: UNC - Coach Williams Translation
how many players were drafted from their 17 national championship team? 2, I had to look at Wikipedia. I get the unc hate but Roy is a solid coach and I wish App would play more of his style of ball. Passing and plays crate the shot, Not individual skill and the 3 should be relied on sparingly. Clo...

Re: 2021 Expectations...
Thanks for your post. I alway like visual depth charts. Why do you say 2022 team will be bad? We had a couple good rec classes? Typical years we average 25k per game. One would have to assume 60-120k unique visitors in a given year over 8 home games...plus fans with health issues or who live out of...

Thanks for your post. I alway like visual depth charts. Why do you say 2022 team will be bad? We had a couple good rec classes? Well of course I hope I'm wrong...but I cannot fathom any precident in college football history where you lose 27 players that contribute and only keep 3 or 4. But we will...

2021 Expectations...
Something that really hit me looking at our 2021 roster (sorry for such a long post): Keep in mind yosef's cabin isn't necessarily representative of the entire fan base. Here we have 30-50 posters...we have 60,000 plus engaged fans and maybe much more. The general fan base is not miserable...but the...

Re: 2021 FBS Conference Talk
https://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=332502026 Seems we were at about the same place in 2013...the score says NC A&T was a little ahead of us at that time. Nope. In 2013 we had 3 national titles, 18 conference titles and 10 double digit win seasons under our belt. Satterfield redshirt ...

Re: 2021 FBS Conference Talk
This would be a legit FBS conference. It would compete easily with the G5 conferences. I would love to see NC A&T make FBS. They would get good fast. If they were the only Historically black FBS team. NC A&T is one I like to pull for. ASUN North: UMass. football affiliate UConn. football affiliate ...

That does not include bowl season. Final CBS comes out next week. The records are updated but rankings are not.

Re: Decision Announcements
As of now, looks like we are only replacing 2 starters on the oline and SJC at CB. That’s if Jolly stays and you exclude Malik whether he stays or not because Sutton returning. Guessing Daley takes the RG position and Luke Smith at C. Stephen Jones appears ready to start at CB for Shemar. Thoughts?...

Re: Final Rankings
The Final Top 25 Rankings are going to be interesting: #18, #22, #23, #24 and #25 all lost. Of those getting votes in the final AP Poll--UCF, Marshall and Army also lost. Miami may stay in the Top 25 (was #18 and lost to a ranked opponent) Liberty will definitely crack the Top 25 at 9-1. Ball State...

Re: Peterson to Illinois?
:P One thing we should all agree on: with Peterson AND Zac Thomas gone there is no excuse for us to not be vastly improved. Petersons play calling was questionable for sure. Zac Thomas performance was awful for sure. We should be better next year. Is this sarcasm? Please tell me it is. Look at Zacs...

Re: Peterson to Illinois?
For those of you dismissing injuries and opt outs as an excuse; I would like to point to Heisman hopeful Kyle Trask and the Gator offense last night. Life isn’t easy when your best players can’t go. But I’m sure it was just the play calling. Clearly you are in the bag for Thomas which is your right...

Re: Decision Announcements
Any chance for an update chart of who is coming back, who is gone and maybe a coaches chart as well? It's great being a Mountaineer! Go Apps! Thanks! Re: Bowl streak
Guys Coastal had an AMAZING season. As a amazing as a season can be with a bowl loss. And they are tough...and should be next year as well. That being said...I hope we don't make a habit of comparing ourselves to Coastal Carolina. We've won 3 DIAA National titles, 22 conference titles, the 15th best...

Re: Decision Announcements
To me thats not too worrisome if we lose some depth guys to keep these high quality guys.
My bigger concern is...we will lose a TON in 2022. Coach Clark needs to be able to talk some of the juniors into using an extra year so the drop-off isn't so steep.
