Related I guess... https://twitter.com/SCSportsNow/status/2003635131698020811?s=20 Wondering if we will go after their 4* backup, Air Noland. Seems like a good kid trying to find a starting role. I don’t believe DLo recruited him to South Carolina, but the kid played HS ball in Atlanta, so maybe th...

Re: Crosby to UNT
ST was the one consistent bright spot for App this season. I wish him the best, but this one hurts. Losing him to another G5 makes it worse. UNT is knocking it out of the park as far as attendance and revenue. In FY ‘24 unt had $53MM in revenue 73% subsidized App had $52MM in revenue 46% subsidized...

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
Agree. Not sure that helps ease some of the doubts about his level of competitiveness. Hopefully those doubts are wrong, but ducking a hit and diving short of the 1st down earlier in the season Along with this has definitely raised some questions about his “fire.” Would love to see him trot out the...

Some interesting JMU NIL numbers, reported in the athletic, based of FOIA requests, "James Madison’s revenue-sharing budget is a little more than $1 million, according to its payroll data. That figure is split among 34 players (whose names were redacted). Two players are making $65,000, and four ar...

Re: It could be worse
Nevermind. Prosecutors charged Moore with felony third-degree home invasion and two misdemeanors: stalking in a domestic relationship and breaking and entering. Moore was released from jail after meeting the $25,000 bond. If the "victim" of the home invasion is the paramour who turned him in, proba...

For those out of the loop, Lanorris sellers is in Boone skiing. Dowell also posted a picture skiing in Boone today. Might be a coincidence. Might not Sellers received $1.8M in NIL last year, stop. I know this is a stretch, but maybe...just MAYBE Sellers realizes that DLo was a huge part of his succ...

Re: How long will we have access?
I fully believe we’ll see a changing of the rules to raise the barrier of entry or shut the G5 out of the CFP entirely after the complete fan and media pundit melt down over 2 G5s getting in. So, how long do you all think we have until that happens? The current deal runs through 2031-32 but I don’t...

Re: Portal time 25-26
The vast majority do not have offers as of today. A couple do. One is frankly unbelievable. So I choose not to. A important reminder in any negotiation , never discount that someone is lying lol. I hate that college sports is turning into a race to the bottom with these agents and yearly negotiations

I’d assume unless they have a firm offer in hand they’d like a chance to show out. I’m also hopeful we can pull at least one out of the portal by matching an offer but we’ll see

Ouch again. https://twitter.com/i/status/1998113783659761680 Ummm…. we lost our starting 3 DTackles in 2 days. Our best position group disappeared overnight. I seriously don't think we have a DT on the roster now. This bowl game going to be bad. Are they not allowed to play? The portal doesn’t open...

Re: Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?
If JMU gets in I can see a change in the future selection process . It’s coming but it may be accelerated. I definitely think that will be the outcome of this situation. A move will be made to limit the G6 participation in the future. I foresee doing away with auto bids. Yes just like last year whe...

Re: What if we pulled a Miami 2.0 in 2026
So, currently South Carolina doesn't have a 12th game scheduled for the 2026 season and as we know, they've kicked the can down the road on their visit to Boone and few of us believe that return trip will ever happen. Dowell Loggains and Doug Gillin have an opportunity to do the funniest thing ever...
