Re: Turf Replacement Pics

Once the turf is installed, I hope the players adjust well to the new surface. I hope the new field will help show off our overall team speed, while limiting lower body injuries. I also think that since the new turf extends over the removed track, players will no longer have to worry about slipping...

If anything it's a big deal that they're at least attempting to get the fans opinions and that nothing official has been decided yet. So go get it done yall.

It has been said the Yosef Club hospitality will be in the Dining Hall again this year. After that, they said they will re-evaluate.

Re: "Give Em Hell" chant

Another band person here. Still a thing, just not publicized I guess is the right way to put it. This is the kinda reason we need a "midnight yell" to get some of these things made into actual traditions.

I would rather be in Boise, Dallas or Orlando. I can go to Myrtle Beach anytime...
This may be true. But fan travel will be a HUGE deciding factor and I can't see us passing by Myrtle Beach, at least the first time.

Re: Clemson's plan for football

Hi, IPTAY member here. I dont do season tickets with them. But they've got their shit figured out. They/we are just playing the waiting game to see what happens before they take someones season ticket away. No one wants to see that happen, but fortunately/unfortunately it's going to come down to pri...

Re: Aaron Copeland

I may be wrong, but Tennessee Waltz goes back to FCS days when the Championship game was in Chattanooga. I've heard the UT band play it also. Our version is much better. Much further back than that. It dates back to at least the 80s. Joe Phelps came to App in 1971 and taught trumpet as was the Dire...

Even with the loss, proud of what this team did this year. Here's hoping Kerns can keep it trending upward!

Re: What is Bar for 2020 Football Season?

I'm glad no one, (at least, so far) is saying "G5 Access Bowl or bust". I think we are in a great situation again this year, with some toss up games. But as long as we have a winning season overall I will be happy. 9-4 could happen with (Wis. ULL, WF, and GaSo). Shawn is 'an App guy' but I hope he's...

I have heard folks who have spoke to Doug Gillian about the matter have said that we are receiving "financial compensation" but no details as to what. But I believe it's a larger cut of the gate than before.

Well, I was at a meeting in boone this weekend: the Yosef Club, "before game area", is 99% to be in Roess Dining Hall again next year. They said that is not the long term plan, and hope to have it in the NEZ, if it works out in the next couple years.

"Is App State receiving compensation with the 2021 game against East Carolina in Charlotte being moved from Saturday, Sept. 4, to Thursday, Sept. 2? When the possibility of Clemson and Georgia playing on that Saturday began to gain steam, we entered into talks with the Charlotte Sports Foundation a...

Re: Dorm Names

Unpopular opinion: I like the dorms being named after people. Gives a bit of history of the person/school and shows a nice "thank you" to the person.

And I lived in App Heights and Mountaineer Hall... so yeah
